Okay, I have to admit this wasn't my favorite chapter. Weren't Pam and Jim, ahem, making out at high school prom??? I'm just not understanding this chapter as much, but I can't wait to see what comes next! And really, even if I didn't like the content so much this was very well written anyways, always perfect editing by whoever your beta is. Give them a cyber pat on the back for me will you? They're good!
Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Hey, PMH! Thanks for reviewing. Yeah, I know, it seemed like they were getting together in the last chapter, didn't it? That just means my cruel trickery worked... I was definitely going for a cliffhanger that left it open as to whether they would be a couple in the next chapter or if it was just some drunk kissing between two best friends with a lot of history. Remember, this chapter takes place 7 months after the prom one and they've gone off to separate colleges.
But yeah, don't you just want to shove these two in a closet already?
Re: the beta - I generally don't have one. Vampiric Blood was a great, great help with the last chapter. She made it light years better. But I'm a professional writer and I usually have editors hacking away at my work, so when I get the chance to write just what I want to, I usually fly solo on it. I ought to be less stubborn!!

Ha ha Dwight as the roommate is really funny, especially hearing Pam's conversation with Jim. I have a nagging feeling it's building to them being each other's first and I hope they get together soon!

I can't believe I haven't been reading this story until today! It's truly awesome and I do hope you continue! I wanted to comment on every chapter, but I figure you didn't want 14 separate reviews from me so I'm combining it all into one word - awesome! Also, I did notice one thing that I wanted to tell you. I'm writing a story (first chapter is with my beta) and I noticed you touched on something in one chapter that is the main focus of my story (don't want to give everything away about my story just yet) and wanted to just tell you that, because I don't want you to think I'm taking any of your ideas! I was reading and I'm like hey... I should mention that. But back to the review, I really love this story, adding it to favorites, and can't for updates!

I like the route you have taken with their friendship. You could have easily just of had them get together, but your way is much more realistic. At their age there is almost no way they would have gotten together and stayed together. I like this flirty yet respectful friendship they have.
Author's Response: Thanks, jimothy! I'm using a lot of aspects from the friendships I had with guys at that age, especially with one guy, who has been my best friend for 20 years. I felt like they needed each other as friends more than anything else. Everything's a journey.

It's such a great idea, following Jim and Pam from childhood through their teenage years (and hopefully beyond.) I think you're doing a wonderful job capturing the emotions and problems teenagers deal with and give it an Office spin.

I'm really happy you decided to continue. This is a well-written, interesting story, and such fun to read. Your teen aged Jim and Pam ring very true. And if there's more kissy kissing ahead, then so much the better.

Ok, that was really sad and I was so scared that Joan had a heart attack or something. Even though this was a really hard time for Jim and Pam, I'm so happy that everything seems to be okay here. Great job writing this chapter, it was really well done - realistic, too!

Oh my god, that was so adorable. Cute! I'm realizing here, it's rather impossible to stop reading here, so I guess I'll just finish. Great job with this story, it's amazingly accurate. This totally reminds me of my best friend when I was younger, we'd known each other since we were one, his name was Andy. But not like Andy Bernard. Thank god! We didn't have the Jim and Pam thing, though, but we're still friends!

Oh my god, I cannot resist leaving you a review, this story is too darn cute. Wow. This is so cute!
