I'm not going to lie this is like the SHIT!!!!!!!
I'm only on chapter 19 but your writing is basically making me laugh out loud. The way you have written them is so them. Things that would totally and completely come out of their mouths on the show. It makes me really happy.
When I first read Kelly saying 'I'll cut her face.' I couldn't stop laughing and now I keep remembering it as I continue reading and continue to laugh. EVERY single part of this so far is great!
I can't wait to finish...well that's not true because if I finish it I wont be able to read any more which will be sad but SERIOUSLY this is GREAT!!!!

Your story is a summer tradition for me to read, and here it is the end of May, starting the story up again--here's to you and your awesome summer story

I have just finished reading this story. I started it late last night and was reading for hours until I was falling asleep at my laptop. Then the first thing I did when I woke up this morning was finish reading it. I had to register an account so I could leave a review for this story because I can't read something as good as this and not review it.
You write every character perfectly. You take what is intrinsically them and manage to make it fit in this AU. I adore the way you wrote Jim and Pam's relationship. Every time I read a conversation between them, I could easily imagine it taking place.
I loved every moment reading this story because it was just so damn perfect.
And also thank you for the playlists. I am compiling a whole list of music to download now thanks to them and I'm probably going to spend the rest of today listening to all the songs and discovering new artists.
So basically thank you for writing such a wonderful story :)

I don't know how I haven't read this story before, but I realised my mistake last night so have been working hard to fix that situation. Basically, it's awesome. I was going to review at the very end, but I felt compelled to review this chapter - not because of the sexy sex as you might imagine, but because Your Ex-Lover is Dead is one of my top 5 favourite songs of ALL TIME! [/Kanye]. Sooo yeah. Now if you'll excuse me, I have more chapters to read! :)

Wow, this story has been incredible! I apologize for reading the entire thing and only just now leaving a first review - but this was so good! I think I actually like AU stories a lot more than ones following actual events in Jim and Pam's lives - as I find that they require so much more thought and dedication from the author to write and create brand new worlds for Jim and Pam to live in. This really has been my pleasure to read, heartbreaking at times, hilarious (courtesy of Angela and Dwight, lol) and just breathtaking at others.
Thank you so much for writing this, adding all of the fun links to see what you were imagining and all the playlists, too. I signed up for an account so I could make a playlist named 'Indie Rock & Keds' and I've been listening to your music while reading the story. The songs definitely do help trying to get in the 'zone' of reading the story and they certainly made my reading experience even more incredible than usual! Not my typical music choice, but I'm starting to like a lot of this stuff, I can totally picture your Jim listening to all of this!
Lastly, incredible job with your writing - it was always incredibly realistic, descriptive and accurate sounding (I've never been to Chicago - but if I go I'll use some of these places as a tour guide!). Just fantastic job!
Alright, I'll stopp blabbering now, but just know that I loved this story so much and I'll be reading your sequel(s)! And maybe buying myself a pair of awesome Keds...

I know I'm probably a bit late in reviewing but I just had to! I just sat down and read your story from start to finished and loved it!! You made Jim n Pam and their relationship seem so real, from their stupid first fight, the playful banter to the final chapter. U swear their cute facebook moment gave made me grin like an idiot!! Loved it! I also enjoyed how you used characters and moments from the show but made them your own. Now I have been on the computer for waaay too long so in the words of michael AWESOME BLAWSOME!!!

OMG... I know I am a bit late to the party, but I had to tell you that I LOVE this story. It gave me a super Ked craving (I actually just bought four pairs) but it was worth it. I love AU because I often wonder "what if" and it's so fun to explore it. I think Pam and Jim have a realistic (in other words, not perfect) relationship and I've loved reading about it. Now... on to the sequel!

so haven't finished the story yet but i just had come back and review here.
hmm, lets see awesome jam action, in chicago, with mixxes that could possibly be my own, did i mention chicago? What's not to like? This story has everything.
Anyways this is definitely one of the best AUs i have read. I really like how you incorporated themes and events in the show and took them and made them unique in the story.
go cubbies
Author's Response: Hey, thank you so much for taking the time to read and review. I'm glad that you are enjoying this story, it was so much fun to write. And baseball season will be starting soon!!! Goooo Cubbies! :D

I haven't finished the story but I just had to leave a review after reading this chapter. I love that you included a poem by Pablo Neruda. I just recently discovered his writing and I'm hooked. If you think that Sonnett XVII is good, the original version in Spanish is amazing. There's just something that I can't explain that gets lost in the translation. But great job not only with story, which I'm loving, but with also choosing such a great poem that really works well in the story.
Author's Response: Ah, Pablo Neruda's poem. So lovely, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it's little part in this story. I'm glad that you're enjoying "Indie Rock" so far. Sooo much fun to write. Thank you so much for the review!

O.M.G using facebook, genius.
I have to go to bed - I don't want to but omg, beware, you will get 100's of reviews tomorrow.
Author's Response: Ha-ha. Gotta have the Facebook, it was pretty much my life in college.

For months people have told me to read this, and I have just not had time until today and WOWZA, they're right, you're AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never sleep, thanks to you, but it's okay, it's totally worth it for a good fic.
Author's Response: Wow! Thank you- I'm so happy that there is still interest in this story. I'm glad that you are enjoying so far, but I apologize if I have somehow turned you into an insomniac. Haha. Get some rest, chica. ;)

Chicago? West Suburbs? Wheaton College? Illinois Wesleyan? Naperville? Everytime I read about a familiar landmark in this chapter, I got more and more excited. If only we could actually get Jim to the western burbs, right? Great job so far!
Author's Response: Aw- yay! I'm glad you're familiar with a lot of landmarks throughout the story. Oh, Chicago. Gotta love the great American city. I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying the story so far. Thanks for the review!

I've been meaning to start this story for a long time now. I'm from the Chicago Western Suburbs so I really enjoy that this takes place in Chicago..and that Jim is a White Sox fan..:) I love the story so far..off to read some more!
Author's Response: Hey there- I happen to live in the Western Suburbs myself. This weekend has been absolutely gorgeous. Loving the warmer weather, even if it's only temporary. I hope you have enjoyed the next couple of chapters! Thank you so much for leaving a note. ;)
