That was really great! I am excited for the next chapters. P.S I grew up in Utica... I know how you feel!
Author's Response: Glad you liked it! :)
Whenever winter rolls around, I always wonder why I decided to go to school in Utica instead of Florida or somewhere sunny. I can't escape the snow - home or school it's there. Hmph.

I suppose this falls into the "when life hands you lemons" category. I much prefer to read about dreadful weather than experience it, thankyouverymuch. Happy that you were inspired, carbondalien, and you're off to an excellent start.
Mishaps and disappointment are really the only constants in his life. Great line. Nice that poor Toby gets to enjoy the weather with his favorite girl (and that it's not Pam) ; ) Excited to read what you have in store.
Author's Response: Thank you. Glad you liked it. :) I spent the afternoon shoveling snow and I'm just wondering why I haven't moved to Costa Rica or something yet. Ugh.

Sorry you are stuck in more snow that you want to deal with. The HooBabies are quite puzzled that we don't have any here in VA since all the Xmas shows have snowmen and snow angels and the like. *sigh*
Author's Response: I feel like I'm in Alaska (although unfortunately I can't see Russia from my house). It's just odd because we went from weather in December that honestly felt like just a very cold spring morning to this craziness.

Nice little story for a cold damp night! Heck, I'm up for some hot chocolate!
Author's Response: Hot chocolate sounds great right about now. Thanks for reviewing. :)
