Wow. This chapter was truly amazing. I love how this:
Whenever we were driving
and had to slow down
because there was an accident
on the side of the road
he would get all concerned.
leads into this:
The cars that drove by
looked so sad
and so concerned.
Really amazing work! (although I'm glad Jim is still alive on the show! haha)

This is my favorite so far. I was wondering what happened to Jim, and then to actually read it brought tears to my eyes. I especially like how seeing an accident could ruin Jim's evening because he was so sad - and their accident ruined a lifetime. I really like the last line.

First, congrats on posting your first story here.
Originally I wasn't going to read this as reading about Jim being dead was just more than my poor heart could take, but today I had to read Chapter 4 to validate it, and I thought, wth, I'll read them all. And I'm glad I did because even though they are extremely sad, they are also very well done and very moving. I like this style, you say so much in so few words. Nice job!
