Very nice way to end this. A different take on Pam's BG confession. I remember prior to BG we were all wondering if Pam would "make her move" by taking Jim aside privately and finally telling him how she felt. The writers decided to have her do it in front of everyone, which made for more drama naturally. Of course, after PW, Jim was pretty closed off to Pam, so it took a life changing moment like the coal walk to give Pam the courage to speak up. I still like your scenario and I could see how kissing him would be easier than telling him her feelings out loud.
Thanks for a nice, quick WIP, gf!

Hmm.... yeah, I think that kiss pretty much signifies what she wants.
They so will have kids. Because I say so. And I am that self-centered ;).
So cute.

Jim came. I already like this better.
Burger.... milkshake..... grease sounds so delicious right now.

Oooh, Azlin story. Completed Azlin story. Even better.
Jim watches GMA? Good boy.
There really is no good way to phrase the love story between Roy and Pam. Although, theirs is better than my neighbors - "I was an idiot and got pregnant really young, so we got married. Then I realized he was an idiot, and got divorced. But I got 'lonely' and got pregnant again. So we got married again. And then I realized he was abusive. And that's how I met your father".... okay, so yeah. That's weird for a review, so moving on.....
It's like a weird love quadrangle.

Azlin, this was such a great story! Very true to the angst-fest that was season 3. I really think that if they had started talking again after Pam and Roy got back together it would have gone like this- both of them pretending and falling into the old dynamic. Sigh. Thank goodness for happy endings :)

I have to agree with the other reviewers, you've picked the single most painful spot in the entire series here.
Ouch. But please keep writing.
Author's Response: Sorry it's so painful. I think I get some sick pleasure out of angst. Or perhaps it's therapeutic. Actually, I'm not sure I really want to know now that I think about it. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this and I really appreciate the review. :)

It's funny, since things have "turned out" the way they have, S3 doesn't sting as badly anymore for me, so bring on the angst (but don't forget good stuff, too). Looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response:
I feel the same way. Actually, I always had faith that everything would turn out, but it is much easier to enjoy the angst when you can see the happy resolution too.
Thank you for reviewing!

Ugh, that was such a heartbreaking time for all. I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. It was quite the angsty time wasn't it? Hope you like the next chapter. There are only three, so I'll be posting the final installment soon.

I love all 4 characters' points of view here. Jim's utter exhaustion, Denial!Pam v 2.0, Roy all earnest and clueless, and Karen, increasingly concerned about what's happening with her relationship with Jim.
Jim being in the same position he was a year ago, watching Pam with Roy, while he himself pretends to be happy with someone else was a great observation. I remember wanting to tear my hair out watching Pam backslide. Not only in terms of her own personal growth, but also: "You idiot! Don't you know what this is going to do to Jim?"
Looking forward to the next installment.
Author's Response:
Thanks EH, I'm really glad you liked it. I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter. I think it was necessary because I needed to get everyone back to that time and kind of set the stage for my approach to it. But by itself I don't actually love it.
But it was kind of cool to relive that time. I liked coming back to it after so long because I think I have a lot more insight now than I did at the time about the characters and what they were all going though. When these episodes originally aired I had just barely started writing fanfic, so it's always been an intriguing time for me.
I'm really glad you liked this. :) Thanks for reviewing. Hope you enjoy the rest of it.
