I am really enjoying this story! You have me thinking of all kinds of scenarios where Pam can find out about Ellie. Will Pam learn to sign? (THAT would be good for some bonus points with the doting dad!)
My favorite parts are the ones that you write of Jim and his daughter. Very sweet.
Can't wait for thenext installment...
Author's Response: YAY I'm so glad you're enjoying this. I'm definitely thinking Pam will try and learn to sign, how cute would that be?rnrnThanks for reviewing, it means A LOT!!

it's good. I actually started writing a story where Jim was a single father last night, i don't know how I hadn't come across this story. You should throw it in the 'Daddy Jim' section.
Anyway, you're story is really, really good. You're description's are really good, but I'm wondering is Ellie entirely deaf or can she hear when she has her hearing aids in?
Author's Response: Hey, thank you so much. I want to put this in the Daddy Jim section, but am not sure how just yet - any help would be much appreciated :)rnrnOhhhh I can't wait to read your storrrry, get busy :)rnrnOkay,so I'll go in to detail more about Ellie's hearing later in the story, but she can hear with her aids in, but not normally like someone with perfect hearing. For example she's hear her Daddy talking to her with her aids in, but she might not catch everything he's saying, and she'd not hear him how we hear him, you know? Hope that helped. Jim will explain it more lol.rnrnThanks again for reviewing, it means a lot!!!

Author's Response: Awww thank you so much. No no, Roy wont be entering in to this story... or will he... lol, no kidding!! He wont, so we're all safe =)rnrnI'm SO glad you like this though, and thanks for reviewing, it means a lot!!!

Really enjoying this, "Hannah" ; ) He loved moments like that, when she was so sleepy and heavy in his arms, but her eyes still snapped open to make sure he was still there. What a sweet moment you've described. I can just picture it. More soon, ok?
Author's Response: I'm glad you're still with me and that you're enjoying this. I have so much planned for this story and I want to make sure I do it justice, you know?rnThanks so much for reading AND reviewing. It's reasuring to know you've not lost people on the way lol.rnrn

You have no idea how big I smiled when I read that Jim was putting in Ellie's hearing aids. I'm deaf myself, so the idea of signing Jim just makes me :D Really looking forward to more of this. If you have any questions about deafness in children or you know, being deaf, I don't mind answering them :)
Author's Response: Awww YAY I'm so glad you liked this story. Like I said, I felt inspired to write this after my friend found out about her little boy. I'd love to talk to you and ask you some questions. I live in the UK, so I don't know how different stuff is compared to the US =) If you have AIM my name is SnoWhiteSally feel free to ping me =)

The relationship between Jim and Ellie is beautiful and a little heartbreaking, what with her ailment and all. I'm so sorry about your friend and her son.
Anyway, this is wonderfully written, I'm so excited at the prospect of some slightly-AU JAM moments :) PLEASE keep writing!!!
Author's Response: Thank you SO much I hope you'll all like what I have planned =)

This is awesome!! Firstly, I have a thing for dads, and so SingleDadJim is certainly hot stuff in my book. And Baby Ellie is deaf, so Jim signs to her... I am melting... you have my undivided attention Hannah!
I CANNOT WAIT FOR AN UPDATE!!
Author's Response: I know right, Jim as a dad is HOT... Jim as a single dad and being all hands on is HOTTER, and Ellie is totally cute (obviously, she's made from Jim lol)rnrnSo happy you liked it. I can't wait to get the story started and for Ellie to meet everyone =)rnrnThanks again xx

Author's Response: Thank yoooou. I was so nervous about posting this, so I'm glad you guys like it. As I said in my notes, I was sort of inspired to write this story after my friend found out her little boy was deaf, so I've done all my research and have seen everything Jim's done with Ellie first hand, so I hope that comes across =)
