Kind of wish this is how it had actually gone.

First off, thanks for posting this story here since I'm not on LJ so I would've missed this little gem.
Second...this story was really good. It's such a smart idea to have both of them coming in the next day and no one else showed up. You captured exactly what I'd always imagined Jim must have felt during and after the basketball game. I really enjoyed the conversation between the two of them, how Pam was trying to get her foot out of her mouth and Jim basically just changed the rule between them.
Of course, the part of less talking and more kissing ;o) I have to be honest...I was expecting something similar to the 2nd chapter of the your very good "Spice" but alas...it didn't happen. And it was actually more realistic (and still just as hot) because as much as they might've want each other, Pam still needed to deal w/ the Roy issue first.
I really enjoyed this story. Great job!

I read this over there (I'm alwaysaparadox :) ), but I'll comment here too! This is awesome. I love everything about how you write Jim & Pam.

Slam dunk? Hell yeah! Great alternate take on this ep, JAMhands! You kept Jim and Pam perfectly in character while altering the outcome. Mission accomplished.
“Probably not as nice as I should be, and probably not as, I don’t know, ruthless as I’d like to be.” That's hot. Really.
Thanks for sharing this.

I'm going to be really honest.. I LOVED the first part of this story.. and then it got to Jim saying 'so you're going to break up with him then,' it just seemed SO OOC, that I had to stop. I really loved your opening though, the description was beautiful, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not every piece is for everyone, but I did want you to know that I loved the first half.
