That was perfect. You did a great job of capturing the characters. I could imagine the actors speaking the dialogue and doing the things you described. GREAT job!!

This was a really beautiful story and a really good characterization of Michael. As much as he wants to be with Holly and start a new life with her, I can easily imagine him freaking out about all of the changes. I love how Jim and Pam are a little exasperated when they're trying to calm him down. They love him and want to make him feel better but he's still the same Michael and they're still treating him the same way they always have. Really enjoyed this piece.

Very nice send-off for Michael, DoofusPrime! The toothbrush was a very sweet detail. As when he was on the phone with Holly, I can certainly picture Michael freaking out after his flight. It's a big step after all! Jim and Pam were the perfect reassuring, calming parents :)
Author's Response: Yeah, this was sort of my farewell to Michael, I suppose. I will keep watching the show and give it a chance, but without Michael, I can't pretend I'm not worried - it's kind of hard to imagine the show without him, so I wanted to write a story about his leaving. I'm happy you enjoyed it. :)

Ah, Michael. You can't give that boy a second alone, otherwise, this is something that would happen. Pam missing him, yet being annoyed by his neediness is how I imagine she would feel.
I'm happy you still have Pam nursing her babe, even on the phone with Michael :)
Author's Response: You know, I am a guy who hasn't had a baby and hasn't really interacted with babies much, so I was a little paranoid about the Pam/Cece scenes coming off naive somehow. I have to admit I looked up nursing online to see what was normal, although I was fairly sure nursing at one year was perfectly normal. Sources I read seemed to say it was best done for at least 1 or 2 years, and after that as long as is comfortable for mother and child, even though - unfortunately - a lot of mothers still don't breastfeed that much if at all. But I thought Pam would, and I definitely liked the parallel between her calming down both her baby and Michael. Glad you liked it too. :)

I liked your Michael story - very believeable and sweet. You said:" I wasn't sure if there was something a little awkward about Pam breastfeeding while talking to Michael on the phone",
Awkward humor is what The Office is made for. It was completely in line, and funny.
Author's Response: Haha, I suppose you're right - hard to go wrong with awkwardness when it comes to The Office. Glad you liked the story! :)
