I'm going to join the crowd and say that while this turning out to be a dream that sets Pam on the path to Stamford is a good twist (I particularly like the ending with Jim hoping *this* isn't a dream), I would really love to see your take on a full apocalypse fic.
(The line with Pam sitting still, watching bugs crawl up on her and hoping the grass will grow over her really sticks with you.)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm always tickled pink when someone new finds my stories and leaves a positive review. I have moved on from fanfiction at this point, I'm actually working on self-publishing my first full-length novel as we speak. I look back at my writing style and head-hopping in these stories and cringe retrospectively, but reviews like these are why I leave my stories up (as imperfect as they are from a literary perspective).

So I appreciate this for what it is, of course, because the twist is great and well written and if only if only it had happened that way, right? But also, tbh, I would 100% be down with a post apocalyptic JAM story and you’re one of the few I think could really do it justice! I got sucked in immediately. Off to the next one! Tired of review notifications yet? ;)

Finally read this! Like another reviewer said it was a great Pam wake-up-call story, but I also would be eager to read more about this post-Apocalyptic world. Still, this is a fun fic as is 😀

I was actually really interested in the post-apocalyptic story (I love those), but it was cool that it was Pam's wake-up call instead. Good job!

Quality story as always
