This is a nice subtle change to canon - just the right thing to push Pam into doing something she already wanted to do, at a moment where Jim was ready and willing to listen. And I appreciate that you don't have White Knight Jim coming to her rescue at the reunion itself. Not that I don't love that kinda story, but this sort of subtler support feels more grounded and realistic to where they were at this point in the story.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think it's important to recognize that Pam needs not to have a White Knight as you put it but just someone who actually believes in her and supports her where she is emotionally.

I really enjoyed this! I was super glad there wasn't any humiliating public outbursts by Roy at the reunion; I was bracing myself and was pleasantly surprised that the story stayed focused on the sweet sweet JAM. Definitely wouldn't mind an epilogue of the little couple in SF.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, I explicitly wanted to avoid writing Roy at the reunion because I would also have been bracing myself. So we just blooped over it ;).

Aww.. this was nice. I can’t decide which is motivating Pam more here, that little bit of courage bubbling up or that bit of desperation she’s feeling from the loss of Jim and Roy and then having this reunion happen all at the same time. Maybe all of the above, but in the end the courage definitely wins out and paid off in a big way!
I definitely wouldn’t mind more if you’re up for it…
Author's Response:
I think the desperation is what makes her text initially but the courage keeps her on the phone.
And I'll consider expanding this if I have more bright ideas about where it should go. I do like pre-S3 Jam.

This is just lovely. Good job! I'm hoping there will be more! :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much! At the moment I'm leaving this as a one-shot, but I might continue it if I don't have another WIP to work through.
