Oh, drunk!jim, oh boy! Good thing for you drunk!pam was the Pam you were talking too.
I cannot wait to see what happens when she replays that convo in her head later.
Author's Response:
Exactly ;) The drunkenness will definitely be addressed coming up :)

This is a really good chapter. I can't believe you dropped a bombshell like that from Jim and it's just sitting there unanswered. Like Pam's cell. Can't wait to see what's next.
Author's Response:
Thank you! I had so much fun writing it :)
Trust me, it will all be unpacked in the next chapter!

Lol. That was adorable!
Author's Response: Thank you! Hopefully we get to see a little bit more of that in the next chapter :)

Oh dear. I mean that in the best way. I think they are going to regret this in the morning head-wise at least. Hopefully not in the heart.
Author's Response: Well, it's definitely going to get a little bit angsty coming up, but then again, you can't have Pam and Jim without a side of angst, can you? ;)

Yess, happy drunk Jim!
I love this story so much and don't want it to end, and at the same time I'm so looking forward to rereading it when it does.... but hopefully that'll be 500 chapters from now.

AHHHH so good! I adore the way you write them, it's spot on with their characters. I cannot wait for the next chapter! 🤩

Yay! I was hoping she’d be going to his place eventually. I feel so awkward with Jim in Pam and Roy’s place so I always imagine it’s not a place jim wants to spend any amount of time, ever.
And even better, drunk!Jim, I love a drunk jim.

Well dang, this is a turn of events. I love when Jim and Pam have opposite interpretations of what's going on with Roy, so this chapter was right in my wheelhouse. Keep them coming!

I adore this story so much and I'm so excited for your updates! I can't wait to read more 😍

This is seriously excellent. Mostly because it's such pure wish-fulfillment from my perspective, but it's also believable (I'm with you on Roy).

I wholeheartedly agree with you about Roy. And I won’t go into it completely in the review section here but in short he is just a “guy” he hasn’t matured into a man. He is tactless, self centered, and domineering. There must have been something there for a sweet girl like Pam to have fallen for him other than attention from the popular jock but she stuck around for so long out of comfort, naïveté, and her own insecurities.
But I really do think you are doing a great job writing Roy, and Jim and Pam as well.

This story just pulls me right in and everything else just disappears.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying it :)

"I feel like these get longer and longer as I write them...oops.."
Hope so! I've gotten really invested in this story, often quickly looking over to the scroll bar, making sure there's still lots left to read.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! That really means a lot :) Honestly, the chapters will probably all average out to about the same, and I love being wordy, so you don't have to worry too much there ;)

I know that great writing and excellent "capture" of Jim and Pam has happened when I DON'T want to talk about how great your writing is . . . . because that pulls me away from the story. When it's great, I just want to say things like "poor Jim" or "wake up Pam" or "why didn't they include this scene in the show?" cause I'm so immersed in it!
Author's Response: Wow, I'm speechless! Thank you so much! You may have caught onto something with that "wake up Pam" comment... ;)

Fantastic story. Super long but super good (twss).
Early seasons, engaged Pam wouldn’t have been so bold as to invite Jim over to her place in the middle of the night let alone blatantly flirt with him. It leads to some interesting scenarios, like what would happen if Roy walked in on them spooning on the couch, but it probably wouldn’t have happened. You nailed depressed, neurotic Jim. His irrational obsession with Pam and inability to move on/hookup up with other women are spot on. Bonus point for painting the image of Jim watching romantic comedies and imaging himself and Pam as the leads, that was a good laugh.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think what I'm trying to get at with Pam being bold is that she doesn't actually realize that she has feelings for Jim, and thinks that she's just inviting her friend over. Hopefully that is conveyed more as the chapters wear on. Thanks again for reading! :)

Yes, more! :D.
None of what they went through was black and white it was a very complicated situation and that’s coming across very nicely.

I'm still really enjoying this. I like Jim's perspective especially; I wonder what the poor guy did from 4pm on.

Ok, that was an excellent continuation. Very much looking forward to where this goes from here. You've got a great premise and the characters seem natural in their reactions to it (though I of course wonder about Pam's POV).

I love this setup. It feels pretty true to Jim and I'm fascinated to know where you go from here.
