Angela seeing Andy and Dwight through the lens of her cats is PERFECT and perfectly her.
I also love this version of Angela's night during Goodbye, Toby. Angela comes off so poorly in this storyline, and it's interesting to see what she thought of her choices and how she came to them, and how on that particular night they were mostly accidental and/or forced.
"When she finds him there, it's bittersweet. Bitter because he's the last person she wants to see at this moment and sweet because he's the only person she wants to see at this moment, bitter because she doesn't know what to say and sweet because his lips taste like cotton candy (which she's always had an affinity for, not that she approves of anything related to Phyllis' disgraceful party), bitter because she's engaged and sweet because that doesn't stop his fingers from tracing their familiar routes on her body." Again, you capture Angela in all her contradictions so well.
Yeah, I mean... this is a really good take on the inner workings of a character who is essentially opaque. I like it a lot.
Author's Response: Thank you! Despite this being one of my least popular stories, it might be the one I am most proud of.

Very well written piece, there really isn’t a lot of Angela stuff on here. Nice touch with Angela comparing Dwight and Andy to her cats.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much! I think I’m basically the only one writing Dwight/Angela on this website right now, but I’m glad to hear you liked my cat comparison. It just wouldn’t be Angela if cats weren’t mentioned!
