Ha, Kelly as a high school student is absolutely perfect. It sure fits her character well.
Michael as an eccentric school principal? Definitely a concept I can get behind. Pam as a librarian is great. Jim as a hunky teacher - not at all difficult to believe.
I love the AU setup!

First and foremost, welcome back. Glad to see you writing again and that this story's progressing.
Nice nod to a few canon elements in the dream sequence there. It's a bit of trick to add canon elements when the story is AU like this, but that was a great way to do it.
I like the concern Jim has for Pam here. Nice to see their feelings are still on track with each other. Still a lot of mystery to everything going on with Jim though. However that just compels the reader to want more.

I gotta say, I’m pretty desperate for an update to this. When this began I feared that we would be in for a prolonged time of the love triangle with Roy. When I read that Pam had no family around and considered Roy’s family to be hers I was certain that it would take a long time for us to see Pam leave Roy. I was absolutely overjoyed when I was totally wrong and after finding out about Roy and Katy Pam didn’t hesitate and dumped him. I will say though that I’m more than a little curious about where Jim was, why he missed weeks of school. I’m wondering f that’s at all tied into the men who came after him. I’m filled with just tons of questions that I hope we’ll get answers to. Of course, I trust that we will since one thing I’ve learned about you is that you come back and finish what you start. 🙂. Even if it’s years later, you finish it. Of course I’m very much hoping that we don’t have to wait nearly that long to get this one updated. You’re an extremely talented author and I cannot wait to see how this story is going to unfold. I just hope that you continue it SOON!

PLEASE continue this very soon. I’ve just watched all of season 1 of Jack Ryan and your story blends The Office with that show so well. Having just watched it I can so clearly envision all,of this happening and I’m frankly desperate for more, SO MUCH MORE. I’m dying to hear hi. Explain this to her. I want so much to know why he’s teaching high school math when he’s clearly trained to do so much more. I want to know who’s coming for him and how he’s going to protect Pam. See ya, Roy. What a jerk. (sidenote: my grandma was an Avon lady when I was little and I had so many of those lipstick samples and had forgotten all about them until you mentioned them here. That detail made me smile, even if Roy was being a dirty cheater.)
This chapter is so well done! I loved how time passed through the first semester and into the second and how we got to see the little moments that are bringing Jim and Pam closer together. The tie-ins to the show are lovely, and I am 100% supportive of them using vocabulary words to flirt with each other.

First off, I love how perfectly suited these people are for the school jobs you've given them, right down to Kelly and Erin being schoolgirls. That seems right.
I'm a big fan of this particular period of time and an even bigger fan of the idea of the Math Teacher and the Librarian, so I can't wait to see what's going to happen in this story!

So this is actually pretty exciting! It was fun to see our favorite characters in this setting. I'm glad we just kind of sped through all the early Jim and Pam angsty days of the show. I'm not at all familiar with the novels this is based off of. So that'll be fun to see. All in all I liked it. Lots of typical JAM moments, but in a new world. Looking forward to more.
