I like it—a lot. One of the few times in early JAM that it might have been Pam making Jim feel flustered instead of the other way around. How could you resist putting your hands on that man?? And the double entendres...oof. Great piece.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks! I feel like there had to be times where they flustered one another--it couldn't have been a one way street all the time. Jim has a decent poker face, but not that good. Nobody's can be that good. :) Glad you liked this! Thanks so much for the comment!

"She wondered if he knew - if he knew how unusual he was." I love little moments where they are silently in awe of one another. That phone call at the end was too sweet. And I agree with Pam; expiration dates are entirely arbitrary. :) Ha! Your note: "This wrote itself" is impressive. Thank you for sharing; please keep sharing these shorter pieces that "write themselves." And how does that work, by the way? ;)

Thank you! I honestly tend toward one-shots, so I'm sure you'll see more.
Re: fics writing themselves. Sometimes characters just talk to me, and I start writing out dialogue, then all of a sudden--poof--it's as if 2/3 of the fic is done. I feel so...struck by some external force when that happens, but it's great. :)

Very cute to see them like this. Lots of classic JAM banter that we all know and love. Short and sweet, but then again not everything needs to be an epic.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks. It's true, not everything needs to be an epic. I mostly write one-shots, to be honest.
