That is an interesting take, both the first person PoV and the way Pam acted. I like it, even if I'd say it's a bit abrupt.

Quick and short to be sure. I like how you captured all of the conflicted feelings Jim has here. That he knows things aren't going the way he intended with Karen but he doesn't know what to do about it. Then all of a sudden Pam shows up. That was great. I always like a good "Pam finds her courage early" fic and this delivers. Well done.
