If only. Still it was very cute. I did like how Jim put everything here. To give him a chance and then she can decide. I've got a feeling that he made the most of his chance, at least that's the way I'm picturing it in my head. Nice job.
Author's Response: Thanks very much!
I think Jim grew impatient during season 2, which is what makes him just say it all and run. He was much more cautions earlier in the show. Then again, she was going to marry and he was desperate

“More Than ok”!! Guh! And this is marked complete??
I definitely felt jims sudden need and determination and pams confusion and hesitation was written so well. Love this, well done!
Author's Response: Thanks very very much!

Aww. This reminds me a lot of the earliest fics on the site, the ones full of optimism and hope for the future that are unaware of S3 (or S9). Well done, and I particularly like the part about "then you can tell me to drop it." Good Jim deflection there. I see you've marked this as complete, and I see why, but you know, if you wanted to expand on the AU...
Author's Response:
Thanks so much! I wasn't around when the show was airing, but I can imagine the feeling. This was written knowing everything that happens afterwards... and trying to spare us :)
AU sounds very tempting...

Oooooo, so intriguing! A whole new direction!
You know --- that jello would have been a mess on Michael's desk by the next MORNING, much less after the weekend! I've thought about that more times than I'd like to admit.
Can't wait to see where this goes! :) (oh, and 'dinner', not 'diner' --- sorry, can't help myself)
Author's Response: Thanks a lot for reviewing! Actually, I was planning on leaving it like this, but you've made me think this might be fun. Besides, after finishing "Automatic" there is this withdrawal...
Hmm.
Diner, dinner, I hate those. Thanks for pointing them out!
