Wow. This is a powerful metaphor, and a really well executed one.

This was really beautiful. You weave metaphors so well, the part about her arms breaking was heart breaking! Just really good. I wouldn’t say no to more one shots like these!
Author's Response:
Thank you so much, BT! I'm really flattered.
And, by the way, another one shot is on the way :)

This is amazing. Great metaphor for post CN Pam. Seemingly everything's been stripped away and she doesn't know what to do. You did a great job of bringing out all the turmoil she must have been been feeling at the time. And yet at the same time as all these boiling thoughts, there's the first glimpse of who she'll be at the end of S4. A stronger version of herself that she discovered on her own without needing to depend on anyone.
Great one-shot!
Author's Response: Thank you for your review, Warrior! I'm glad I could catch that moment of her transformation and write it well.

I really liked this, water allegory always plays really well with our favourite pair. The imagery of the slow transition to relying on Jim was really on point.
Author's Response: Thanks, DG! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Oh. My. God. I love this. You know how I feel about a good metaphor! And then to wrap it up the way you did - “she didn’t need water to breathe.” It’s so perfect for her realization that Roy isn’t essential to her life (even after he’s felt that way for so long). This was beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank you, Jenna! I'm so glad you like it — I'm fond of good metaphor too :)

Oh this is right up my alley. I love the way you wrapped Pam’s growing independence and breaking away from Roy and towards Jim in this beautiful symbolic way.
“She wanted to feel the sun kissing her skin again.
And she didn’t need water to breathe.” —Dernhelm! This is GORGEOUS.
Author's Response: Aww, thank you so much, Bored! I really appreciate you kind words!
