I’m so so so excited for this story, and this chapter was so good! I love how Jim is so forward here, although I’m curious if you’re going to add a Roy. I enjoyed Pam’s overalls as well. They reminded me of her Pratt sweatshirt and jeans look from S9.
I’m not giving you a jellybean because I want to space them out, but I LOVED this chapter so much!

WW okay, I’m SO happy this posted tonight, I was literally thinking about this after the discord last night AND felt the need to tell my wife (not a FF reader or writer lol) about your concept becsuse I was so excited for this! They’re so in character, I can picture it perfectly, I was an English major with an art minor so I’m DYING and I am just so happy, did I say that? How HAPPY this story makes me!!!

This was so adorable, well-written, and so true to their characters. We don't see their first ever meeting play out on screen but I can imagine it having an air of this kind of sweetness about it. As far as an introductory chapter goes, this works well. Nice to see some things from canon adapted here. Jim and Pam being across from each other being the big one. Love that they start teasing each other right from the get go. Glad to see this one getting going. Should be a lot of fun to follow.

That was as delightful as I had hoped for, well done! I have no complaints about saving Michael for later. I liked the parallel between their classroom placement to their canon seating arrangement, it'll be interesting to see what sort of shenanigans they get up to! Poor Jim. His first year of teaching sounded like mine. I’m happy he stuck it out and is on year 4.
Creed as the former art teacher makes a lot of sense, and Darryl being Jim’s department friend fits so well!
I want Pam’s outfit, specifically, her cardigan!

This is off to a good start! You've got some fun details repurposed from canon (I guess Jim's going to have to find something else for Pam to try to teach him), and I feel like there's a lot of comic potential in Michael as assistant principal. I absolutely buy that he's someone the students would like and the faculty would feel like murdering. I'm looking forward to getting to see more of this version of Jim and Pam!
