OH oh
THIS is my favorite so far. Just stunning.
Author's Response: Thank you, Bored, I appreciate it so much!

Well. That was a gut-punch look in Pam's head in Season 3.
You're a very good poet, you know that?
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I still feel like an imposter, but I'm excited that I make this impression :D

Aw! My heart!
Loved this one!

OOF this one feels too real.
Great job capturing this episode in such gorgeous words!
Author's Response: Thank you! I like to make things realistic, so I'm happy when it worked!

Oh this is sweet. Love the image of them on their honeymoon and something like this happens. Very cute.
Author's Response: Thank you, Warrior! Glad you liked it!

TOO. CUTE.

Good onya. Your persistence is admirable.
Author's Response: Thank you!

I really like this one. I'm a sucker for a good ending line.
Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you liked it :)

Yeah that's S3 Jim. Still reeling from Casino Night, still grasping around in the dark. Sadly his grasping will involve dragging a few others down too. Great way to put that.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm still bitter about the whole Jim-Karen relationship...
Date: January 14, 2021 10:44 am Title: Water IV, Fire III
Oooooof. Brutal. But also, a very clever working in of the elements to the Karen-Jim dynamic.
Author's Response: Thank you! I like both Karen and Jim, but together they're... disastrous.

I mean, if you're basing this on the elements, OBVIOUSLY you have to touch on their canonical love of shower sex. This is also a prank I can totally imagine Jim trying to pull off and failing at. I like it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad that it's something believable and something that they could have had in canon :)

AAAAAAH I love this one! Pam *would* spray him with the showerhead in fear. I can totally see it.
This was great, can't wait for the next one!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed this one, and I'm grateful to you for reading and reviewing.
I hope you'll like the following pieces as well :)

OOOOOOOF my heart.
Great again, Dernhelm. I'm again left speechless
Author's Response: I'm thrilled with your reviews, Em. Thank YOU!

Aw the yogurt lid! Who knew we'd be so weepy over a yogurt lid.
This is great, I'm running out of words to say because your imagery is amazing and I find myself repeating that each time.
Still, beautiful
Author's Response: It's a true love, I guess, that even the smallest, the most meaningless trinket in the hands of a beloved one turns into a treasure.
Thank you!

Hi, resident Disney-obsessed reader here.
OUCH, this one hurt. I love the imagery of fairytales here with Jim (even if the last line felt like a punch in the gut). Fortunately for us, we know it's true love's kiss and she wakes up, but poor Jim.
Author's Response: Thank you (and sorry for the punch)! I like fairytales very much and I think I keep looking in that direction for other stories as well...

Aw yay! Cece's here!
What great words to describe childbirth. Painful, but what beauty lies at the other side.
Loved this one!
Author's Response: Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, Dernhelm. Sending good vibes to you and your family.
This is a beautiful conversation they had. Grief hits us all at different times in our lives, and it forces us to answer questions we're not ready to. Neither of them want to discuss their after-death plans with one another, never *wanting* to part, but alas, it must be done sometimes.
This fits VERY well, Dernhelm. Beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank you, Em. Your support means a lot to me.

I love that deleted scene so much. This imagery is amazing!
Author's Response: So do I! They should have kept it!..
And thank you :)

Yep, this imagery describes Roy well.
Inviting at first, but still the threat of danger without her seeing.
This one is beautiful, I love it!
Author's Response: Thank you! This one is one of my favorite and I'm really glad it turned out well.

Aw Jim!
Loved this one! I love their shared goal of giving each other their everything. This warmed my heart!
Author's Response: Aww, I'm glad you like this one! Thank you!

Late on reading and reviewing (as per usual).
I love this idea. 1 AM tends to give us some of the most brilliant ideas, thank you for running with this one.
The imagery in this is beautiful, and it captures her fear and budding flower of confidence very well.
Can't wait for the rest of this series, it's already off to an amazing start!
Author's Response: Thank you, Em! I still don't know how long I'll keep going, but I'm still excited with this idea :)

Took me moment to figure out what was going on here. Once I got there it's totally believable. The kind of silly hijinks they get into here was a lot of fun to envision.
Author's Response: Thank you, Warrior! I'm not very good at writing prank and I'm glad this one is fine.
Date: January 12, 2021 06:55 am Title: Water II
Poor Jim. He might have a harder time getting over it than he thinks he will. I'm just guessing. :)
"Fingerprints she'd left on his heart" is a good line!
Author's Response: You're guessing just right :)
Thank you!
Date: January 12, 2021 06:48 am Title: Water II
Oh Jim. If only you knew what was really in store for you. Still her fingerprints on his heart is such a great line. You can tell he's trying, but he also knows it won't be any good. Hang in there buddy. There will be better days ahead.
Author's Response: Yeah, it was a hard time for him... but luckily (for everyone), he didn't give up.
Thank you for your reviews!

This is a really good summary of The Job, in a lot of ways! The way Jim is kind of haunted by Pam but feels like he knows better than to fall for it again... until he knows what he really wants.
Author's Response: Thank you, that means a lot to me! I didn't even think of 'haunt', but I'm excited that it could be read this way :)
