Gah I loved this! The idea of Pam wishing they'd met in high school, and Pam's fate being sealed, is so bittersweet. It's a really nice touch to what is already one of my favourite scenes.
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! I both like it and not so much (I just don't want them to break up like so many other school sweethearts!), and I'm glad that you enjoyed this piece :)

The last line is heartbreaking.
Good onya
Author's Response: Thank you, Once, I truly appreciate it!

I love the phrase "...the moon weaved white in their hair." We all get grey, if we are lucky.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!

Oof, really feel for her there. Just covering up the holes and cracks that have left things untenable. That her heart is now empty based on this fits so well. Going to take some more work but the good thing is she'll get there.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think that she tried her best to make things work between her and Roy, but if the only one worked... the love was doomed to run short.

This is a really strong metaphor for the way Pam falls out of love with Roy... not big moments but just dripping away... I like it a lot.
Author's Response: Thank you!! This is the piece that especially dear to me, and I'm glad you like it too.

I *love* the idea of a romance between high school Jim and high school Pam... and the idea of Pam thinking of her fate as already being sealed at this point sounds about right.
Author's Response: Thank you! I like the idea of this romance too, but I dread it too — people at this age usually are not ready for serious relationships and JAM breaking up is one of the worse things in the universe to me...

Awww, look at Pam falling even harder for Jim here. This feels like that even back then her heart knew what it wanted but her head wasn't allowing her to really feel her true feelings. Nice work.
Author's Response: Thank you! I believe that Pam thought that it was too late to change anything after ten years of relationship — even if she had her doubts. Luckily for everyone, she took a leap of faith :)

Ahh I'm so sad this is coming to an end (but excited about the bonus stories) - and what a lovely chapter to end on! Old Jim and Pam sitting a roof together is just perfect. I've loved reading all of these! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for sticking up with this story! Hope you'll enjoy the bonuses too :)

Love the picture of them sitting out under the stars. I've got this image of them on their terrace, hand in hand with starlight in their eyes.
This is a beautiful way to wrap this up. Considering everything you've had to deal with while writing it, it's a great testiment to how having something to look forward and work on can help one through hard times. Each instalment was a great moment in time. Some hard, some sweet, all imporant in their journey. Thanks for taking us along with you as we got a look into all of these glimpses. You did a great job with all of them.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, Warrior! This experience was unusual, but it was great (I'd like to repeat it someday). And thank you for your support during this journey — it helped me a lot!

Well. You knocked this whole idea out of the park time and time again, and I am extremely sorry to see it semi-wrap up. And what a note to do it on! Lovely to think of them growing old together happily after all that angst!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm grateful to you for your support, and I'm glad that you enjoyed this story!

I love this, seeing what they would've been like behind closed doors.
Author's Response: Thank you! There were a lot of moments when they were vulnerable and support each other, but, apparently, not enough for me :)

Loved this one. That Jim has learned to not keep things in is a great way to show his growth.
Author's Response: Thank you, Warrior! Yes, I like to watch how the characters are growing, and Jim changed into a more mature person for sure.

This is some very sweet angst - I feel like it's very in character for Jim to play happy music when he's trying to convince himself he's ok, and I love Pam seeing through that. And I love the acknowledgment from Jim at the end that the price of silence is too high, after everything they've been through.
Author's Response: Oh yes, after years of silence (and consequences of it), I think they've learned that lesson and share their doubt as worries with each other. I'm glad so much you appreciated that moment too!

Yes! I sort of wish there would have been a moment like this in the Stress Relief episode (not that watching Angela trying to save her cat iwasn't hilarious) - so thanks so much for writing about it :) This is really sweet.
Author's Response: Awww, thank you! I like the humor in the show most of the time, but I feel an unexplained need to add something more down-to-earth and serious... okay, it's just because I can't write humor properly :)))

I love reading these lil ‘ficlets’ . You take in something so small and make it mean so deep, it’s incredible.
And I have a special appreciation for writers whose creative minds could generate new updates, practically every day 👏🏼
Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely review, I appreciate it so very much <3

This is a spin on Stress Relief I've never thought about before, but it definitely feels realistic that Jim would be a little bit haunted by his inability to protect Pam.
Author's Response: Thank you! To be honest, some things in the show that were pictured rather in a humorous way, I consider as pretty dark... aaand I feel an urge to paint this picture.

I binged the whole thing and now I'm in awe. You're a poet, oh my god. Incredible!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much, Truli! It brings me much joy :)

Great way to capture Jim's emotions here. The fact that his first thought is to save her is right on point. The relief is real too. Fear he'd be unable to save her makes sense. However he was also doing his best to get out of the situation. Great job.
Author's Response: Thank you! I truly hope that there wouldn't any other tests for Jim in the future, but I believe in his ability to save Pam from any danger.

I like how Pam compared getting married to Jim on a boat as opposed to Roy.
I think that deep down she used her family not being on the booze cruise as an excuse for having doubts about her relationship with him.
While she jumped in with both feet to be with Jim.
Author's Response: Thank you! And yes, I have the same thought about Pam's hesitance on that cruise...

I really like this insight into Jim’s head here.
However, my favorite part of the episode was when Andy screamed that fire was shooting at them! 😂
