I love the avalanche metaphor here!
Author's Response: Thank you very much!

Haha, I loved this! Also loving the confident Pam, and it's a really fun way to bring in the fire walk. I mean, it's true: she did walk over hot coals when none of the men could.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think at that point in their relationships she felt so confident and trusted Jim so much, that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind...

That's definately something that's not seen a lot I'll give you that. Gotta love the big of sass Pam gives Jim there. I get the feeling something like that would endear her to Jim all the more.
Author's Response: Thank you, Warrior! I feel like I'm double testing myself, writing stories that are far from my comfort zone... but I like sassy Pam too!

I love newly strong and confident Pam. Fancy New Beesly indeed.
Author's Response: Thank you :)

Love this one. I always loved how she was the only one NOT to name him and yet was the only one who really could.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Bored! I'm glad you enjoyed this vignette :)

I'm out of jellybeans :( But I really enjoyed this! I love the idea the the FTC came into being in season 3, which would make total sense as something that Pam started with other people in the office, outside Jim. The last line here is great - I really like the assertive!Pam. And it makes it even sweeter that she eventually invites him to join to cheer him up.

Pam's got some grit to herself here. After a big shock this feels like she's doing her best to find something to push back with. Not letting anyone dictate things seems like a good way to let that out.

There should absolutely be more Finer Things Club stories. I kinda like the idea that the FTC keeps accidentally focusing on literature that parallels what's going on in Pam and Jim’s life.
Author's Response: Oh, I like this idea too! And also that Pam found some solace (or even more distress) in literature.
Thank you!

"salty playfulness" is an outstanding way to summarize how the office women see Jim.
"She wasn’t used to sharing her secrets." Great sentence.
Congrats on the streak.
Author's Response: Thank you very much, Once!

Love that even early on Pam does know what she feels for Jim. This has the feeling that this is what she's thinking right before she tamps her feelings down under denial or obligation. Nice work as always.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think that Pam's love for Jim back then consisted of many things, and the physical attraction was one of them. But you're right, she was suppressing them all...

I liked this a lot... and in particular the dual reference of the element to her burning cheeks and, you know, the actual fire that Ryan started.
Author's Response: Thank you! I like it the most when I could tie different meanings to one element :)

Ahh this is so good (and so sad!) You can just see on Jim's face in that episode that he's right back to where he started watching Pam with Roy, despite all his attempts, and this captures that so well. I really like the 'he was sinking down that deep icy darkness all over again' line.
Author's Response:
Thank you! I felt so sorry for Jim there... and even more for Pam. Even 'Casino Night' didn't hurt me as much as 'Phyllis' Wedding' :(

Yeah, Jim's face during the recpetion kind of says it all. Especially after his brief theoretical talking head. Really nailed one of the low points of their relationship.
Author's Response: Thank you, Warrior, it really means a lot to me!

This was delightful. Jim distracting Pam from baking with those kinds of images is just the sort of wonderful warm fluffy thing they would get into. Loved this one.
Author's Response: Awww, thank you so much, Warrior!

No Pam his heart is still yours. Granted he can't see that right now, nor can you. But it's there. Perfectly manicured won't hold a candle to grease or paint stains. Give it some time and little more courage and you'll show him that yourself.
Author's Response: Thank you. We all know who held his heart, yes, but at that time, things seemed pretty hopeless...

Happy (belated) Valentine's Day! This was so great: I love the idea of them getting distracted from baking, and cinnamon reminding him of that...some really nice imagery here!
Author's Response: Thank you! Apparently, I have some sort of a kitchen kink I never knew about before, and I'm not ashamed to tell about it :-D

A very appropriate entry for Valentine's Day, and a very vivid look into their life post-Season 3.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Author's Response: Thank you very much :)

Yes, I know that beauty is in the beholder,
but I never thought that Karen was all that great.
I thought (and still do) that she is rather bland looking, that crazy girl Cathy.
Nothing special going on there either.
To me Karen was just another excuse(like Roy)
by the writers of the show to keep JAM apart.
Also Jim himself was a huge ass in season 3.
Karen didn’t have his heart because he didn’t have one.
Pam was actually better off without him.
Also Karen was a massive bitch in that episode, by pushing her relationship with Jim in Pam’s face
at VS, but I guess she had to everything she could to keep him since she’s doesn’t Pam’s body.
This was well a written chapter. And thanks for letting me vent about my dislike for Season 3.
😂

Hard to think of that tire changing as being something other than a triumphal moment for Pam, but I can see her having this thought.
Author's Response: Thank you! It's important to me to keep these stories believable.

Aww look at Cece digging in the garden terrace! Adorable. Love this one.
Author's Response: Thank you, Warrior, I'm glad you enjoyed this one!

This made me so happy :) I love the idea of Pam's dream being realised through Cece, it's a really nice touch.

Yes! I love that you've captured that deleted scene (which I really wish they've left in) about graphic design just not being the right art for Pam. You've written the image of the sunset here so beautifully, especially compared with 'the pixels of her unfinished assignment.'
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you like this part!

This was so sweet. I really love the 'they didn't conspire' line (especially with how often Jim and Pam do actually conspire), and both of them independently just wanting to hold onto something that innocent.
Author's Response: Thank you! I guess, at that point, both of them weren't ready to confess to each other how much time spent together meant to them... so, no conspiracy happened :)

Awww. I remain forever sad we never got to see Pam in her house with a terrace, so I'm glad you explored this vision of her life more.
Author's Response: Thank you! Her dream was so sweet that I just had to give it to her :)

It does seem like the show ultimately concludes that graphic design isn't really the artform Pam is passionate about, it's interesting seeing that explored a little... that it sort of pulls her away from what she really wants to be doing.
Author's Response: The deleted scene (I don't remember the episode) when Pam showed Jim her portfolio made me believe that graphic design wasn't her cup of tea. So this piece was born out of this belief (though the scene where she animated the picture of Dwight made me wonder what was going on with the script?..)
