Ah, I loved this! This is such a lovely idea, and so exactly the type of thing I could see Jim and Pam doing. I loved the little snippets you picked to come back to this, especially the cute Cece moment and then the slightly heart-breaking one from season 9. And the ending was just perfection!

This was super cute. I 100% can get behind Jim and Pam doing something like this. A fun reminder of where they are and where they've come from. Nice that you added in some of their history too. Good way to touch base.
Lots of fun for a quick one shot.
Author's Response: thank you for the review! i'm happy that you thought them making the heart was in character, things like that can be tricky sometimes.

Girl. (Or should I say gurl.) I loved this SO much. I'm a sucker for any fluffy one shot and you did not disappoint. You had so many fantastic lines in this.
"At the very least, if she said no, he still got the chance to love her. And he wouldn't trade that for the world." Ugh. I'm sobbing.
"The baby doesn’t need to know, (at least not right away), about her failed engagement, and the four hearts that were broken in the year following it." OUCH. That was brilliant.
"A man who can recognize that this little, cheesy heart carved into wet cement five years ago is her Taj Mahal." This. This line right here. It broke me in the best way. It represents Jim and Pam so perfectly.
And I loved your ending line. Haha. It was the cherry on top.
Author's Response: thank you so much for the amazing review! i'm especially happy that you liked the Taj Mahal line, because it was my favorite one to write out of the whole fic.

Aw this was just so fluffy and adorable! I loved it! They definitely would write their initials in wet cement, and look back at it a lot. Great story!
