Great chapter full of tension of the sexual & conversational varieties. It's a good thing SK brought up the text. Pam & Jim would've avoided the "why didn't I ever hear from you again" discussion for ages. I'm still a bit nervous about "Playboy Jim" & his backstory causing issues.

I am also concerned about SK. Her reactions seem to possibly go beyond being protective of Pam. Even Pam's reaction to SK saying ok, invite Jim makes me nervous, "Pam felt a simultaneous lifting and falling of her heart. She didn’t really know what that meant..." Does she want more from SK?

Still such an obvious connection between Pam & Jim, their finding their way back to each other is always the end game I'm pulling for.

Can't wait to see how it all plays out. The chemistry is still there but they live on opposite sides of the country & Pam seems very content with her life.

So despite ten years, the feelings are still there. Lots of fun to see how Pam reacted to Jim being there. Same with Jim. He seems to be just as magnetically draw to Pam as she his what with all the hand holding, hand on her back, and knee touches that is. SK's reaction is interesting to be sure. I get she's the voice of pessimistic reason. However as you've said she and Pam have history. Maybe some jealously creeping in considering how Pam's reacting to Jim.

Finally the truth comes out about that text from so long ago. So in that regard it's nice that SK is there to cut through the usual dance around hard topics route Jim and Pam usually take. Great job as always.

What an end to a chapter! Actually the whole chapter was pretty brilliant.

So noting the having to report, just-doing some reviews as seems unfair to lose them. This was a fab start. Love the premise.
