To start out with, I think you have a formatting issue. There's basically a few big blocks of text that make it harder to read.
Past that, I really like that Pam is initiating things here. Feels like she's done with Jim hardly noticing her so if he won't make a move, she will. And that's big move for sure. Felt like Jim was kinda caught in a deer in the headlights moment. Loved it. Really looking forward to where we go from here.

Hey, it looks like some of your formatting got lost in the upload - might want to re-edit/re-submit.
Author's Response: Noooo!!! Thanks for letting me know! 😊

Why won't they just talk to each other. Though bad form to Jim for constantly texting Karen there during the poker game. Especially with Pam right there. I get the guy is hurting. Getting dumped sucks and of course his heart took a huge hit on Casino Night, but Pam is there and she's trying. Though the fact he did take a jellybean feels at least like a sliver of hope.

Oh longing and pining Jim here. Reliving the past and thinking about how he would have done things different. One thing I'm a little confused about. In the opening chapter Jim told Pam that Karen broke up with him. Yet here it seems like Karen is trying to patch things up. Now I get that sometimes people regret their decisions and want to change them. After all that's kind of Jim and Pam's shtick isn't it? Just seems a little flip floppy. Could be an area for further development so we'll see where this goes.
Author's Response: Ah good point I will follow up on that!

Nice introspection on Pam's part. The Jim wall seems like something she'd do too. Also good to have the olive branch messages from Jim there and for Pam to respond back in way that accepts them. Onwards to poker.

Well, that's a change from canon to be sure. That Jim had Pam's teapot card in the glove box, Karen would find it, and then she'd break up with him over it is something I don't think I've read before.
Still feels like there's a lot of tension between them that they need to work out. Should be interesting to see how that goes.

I'd like to knock their heads together but mostly Jim's. Season 3 Jim was difficult to stomach at times. Cannot wait for the next update!
Author's Response: I agree, season 3 Jim is such a sad sack. Ugh, I can't take it!

Man, one of the two of you really needs to actually take action. Learn from your mistakes, Jam!
Author's Response: Do they ever really?

Oh, I bet you she remembers it all too well, Jim.
Author's Response: All to well... ah, Taylor Swift. I really enjoyed that collab here on MTT.

Jim being the first one to open the door again is a very interesting choice!

Really interested to see where you will take this,I'm on the edge of my seat!
Such a good idea to have Karen find THE card. You've captured the season three angst really well here - I'm really looking forward for more! Great job

Finding the Christmas card is a great way to break them up - it would have let Karen know in black and white Jim's feelings, and she would definitely have broken up with him. Something I always thought she should do after Jim admitted his feelings for Pam to Karen. Why she stayed is beyond me!!
Looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Karen finding solid evidence of Jim's feelings towards Pam with enough space to make up her own mind about how to deal with it, instead of letting Jim reframe it first, is an intriguing twist.
Interested to see where you're going with this and what's going on in Pam's head here... feels like it should be a moment of progress for them and she's not prepared to take advantage of it somehow?

Jim’s attitude in this story is an example of why I wasn’t a fan of him in season three.
He’s playing the poor me card while ignoring the fact that he started the problem with Pam in the first place. Even though Pam was my favorite character,
it drove me nuts how she would let the men in her life treat her like trash.
Author's Response: Agree 100%!
