Ugh, you have made me sad with this one… but I can’t help but also enjoy how well you wrote about more uncomfortable emotions and the deeper aspects of life that weren’t explored fully I. The show and in fiction as well.
I applaud you on this one!
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Tough read just because you hate to think of Pam going through this, but well done. It's a dose of the real world in our sitcom romance, and it's really interesting seeing them dealing with mortality like this.
You did really well finding the details of the "beats" of unexpected loss... the practical things that need to be dealt with even as you face your grief, the regrets and the nostalgia, the renewed sense of how fragile life is and how important it is to let people know how you feel, the need to have the people around you step up and support you. Feels very real. It sounds like you're speaking from too much experience with it yourself, so I'm glad this was helpful to you along with being a striking fic.
Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words.

This is so touching and moving! You handled writing these emotions so well.
Author's Response: Thank you. Unfortunately, I've been through these emotions myself too many times.

It IS always hard when we lose someone we love. Especially if we're as close to them as Pam seems to be to Meemaw. Clearly it hit her hard. Love that Jim is just there for her and shifts to help her as much as he can. Same with Betsy. Having a strong support system in place 100% makes hard times easier to bear.
Pam seems to become a bit more thoughtful. Making sure she says in word and deed how much she loves Jim. You were able to show their bond so very well with everything after Pam woke up from her nap. Beautifully done.
Author's Response: Thank you. Your review is very thoughtful and I appreciate your kind words.

Ooooh! I really loved this! I like stories that delve deeper into the harder emotions or take a break from the constant fluff or angst that usually surround Jim and Pam.
Author's Response: Someone told me that this is a different type of story than usually appears for Jam and encouraged me to republish it, I'm glad I did.

I think you wrote Pam finding out about the death of her Meemaw really well here. And the way Jim and his family gave her the support was so spot on too. He knew when to back off and when to give her what she needed. Good work!
Author's Response: Thank you. I've learned from my own dealings with grief when someone needs a shoulder, and when they need you to back off. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Grief is such a poignant emotion and I’m glad to see it explored here. I feel like Jim would be so good at comforting Pam through losing her beloved Meemaw.
I’m super close to my grandmother, who some in the family call Memaw, so the emotion here I could relate to.
Great story!
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
