This one is just. So. Darling!!!!! First of all, JIM. Saying that a baby and a toddler will be āeasyā while the baby is an immobile infant is *probably* the parenting version of saying āitās pretty quiet around hereā in a hospitalā- literally the world hears, and sends a giant middle finger in the form of just awful momentsā¦ surely Jim learned his lesson after this, I hope! What a joyful, sweet little moment where Cece meets Philip. I imagine thatās how most first sibling meeting goā that new novelty wears off REAL quickā only speaking as an almost 4 year old meeting my little brotherā who actually did come home on my actual 4th birthday and I was not very impressed or appreciative of that!
But God love Jim for being hands on dad and going though all those tee shirts without complaint. I love that heās contemplating the pee shirt being not terrible until itās soaked by Ceceās bath waterā again, on a terrible work day, depending on the location, type, and amount of body fluid, if Iāve completed more hours than I have left, I might just go the Jim route and say fuck itā¦ really selling this nursing thing here, huh? Lol..I also relate to Jim as always having at least some percentage of my clothing perpetually in a laundry basketā¦ itās cool, Jim. Totally cool.
You, on the other hand, are not selling this two baby thing MrsK! Was I this horrible to my parents?? How did Jim and Pam not just lose it here? And what was this wild sex shirt of which you speak?!?! I feel another storyā¦ For some reason (maybe the accompanying pic?) Iām thinking Jim flirtatiously delivers his āIm gonna need you to be a little more careful about your clothes Mrs. Halpertā and I adored thatā¦ because itās totally one of the things we love about Jamā¦ humor and flirting in the midst of mass chaosā¦
I love that you worked the scrambled egg bit in too! And what a sweet little endingā¦ because even in the midst of all that, Jam remembered what is truly importantā and itās memories like those that will make you howl laughing at the circumstances surrounding such a great moment of love! Although, for my next birthday, I may need the back story of this shirt. If I write a series on Jimās accessories for your birthday, do we have a deal? Im open to negotiationsā¦ hahaha ;) these were soooooo sooo sweet and I love them and you dearlyā¦ thank you again so muchā¦ it truly warmed my heart! Lots of love and gratitude my friend!!

Another sweater pic? Oh girlā¦. I know we both love that sweater! And Iām pretty sure once Pam saw it on Jim, she loved it tooā even if it was made out of the same wool that Pamās sweater was made ofā¦ speaking of, why does Helene have so much of this yarn?!?! I love your Jim in this chapter, but really, every Jim you write. Just quietly, confidently letting Pam find her voice and her way to vocalize her feelings to him. I also love the reveal that of course he looked at her that dayā¦ because honestly, how could he not? She DID look really pretty that day.
And real smut?? This is a pretty daring Jam fueled by some wineā¦ Iām hopeful too that the lack of streetlights and an empty park gave them some alone time to create new sweater memories for both of themā¦ youāre just the best! Oh my goodness. Jim in a cozy cardigan. I cannot tell you how much I love this!!! And all of the cardigans weāve discussed at length! WITH some of my back story!! And a little bit of Jamās first date, which was the sweetest thing EVER!! I love that Pam has HER trusty cardigan ready to goā but letās be honestā¦ I kind of expected PAM to be the who needed to be kept warm, not Jim!! I can see that beautiful little scene with the cherry blossom trees (so sweet!) and itās perfect! Again, this is just perfect fluffy new Jam love and itās THE BEST!!! Cute callback to Michaelās dry cleaned jeans tooā¦ and I love that Pam picked him up that lovely cardigan on her travels there! I donāt blame her for taking off the cardigan as soon as he put it on eitherā¦ because LOOK AT THAT PIC!!
OF COURSE our Jim would wear a tie to meet Pamās parents as her boyfriendā¦ he does have very nice manners!! Iām disappointed that Pam couldnāt see the missing button on his cardigan, but Iām very well versed in simple sewing such as that so if Jim needs that button fixed Iām more than able to help him!
Of course my FAVE cardigan story is the chunky dark cardigan that Larissa gifted him. I can totally see Pam stealing it for cozy weekends on the couch! I can also see Jim wrapping her up in said cozy cardi as he reads to her on a rainy dayā¦ sighā¦ this is the life I NEED!
I love your take on the Gucci hipster cardigan tooā¦ def from a stylist with makeup and hair, and I love that Athleap needs some new hipster headshotsā and that Pam was there to witness the awkwardness of that particular cardiganā and I love that theyāre still laughing together. Did she want that cardi to use for some Jam sexcapades reliving the chunky black cardiganās magic??? Jk, Jkā¦ but I love me some Jim in a cardigan!!! Thank you my love!

Oh MrsK!!!! This was just beyond, beyond, BEYOND girl! It was the sweetest, kindest surprise to wake up to on my birthday! I cannot tell you how much it warmed my heartā¦ and made me a little warm too! I havenāt yet rewatched Basketball after you told me you loved Jim in this episode, but now I will!! I just love how as Pam tries to talk herself out of thinking about him at the game long ago, she canāt really stop thinking about Jim heavy breathing in a different way in that old tee! You captured such sweet early season 4 Jam in this and I loved it.. the sweet couple no longer afraid to show the world theyāre together and madly in loveā¦ whether it interrupts work or in this case, a community center basketball game, you found that excited, new, bubbly Jam that it just so welcome after season 3 angst. I am not worthyā¦ And the visuals?? OMG. Youāre just the BEST!! Thank you!!!

Love that Jim is so ready to step up right here. Also I'm getting some huge flashbacks of some of my favorite shirts being ruined in very similar circumstance. Annoying at the time, but fond memories now. Also Jim, dad to dad, let your wife help you. She's not made of lace and you'll burn out if you try to do everything. Regardless it was a lot of fun to see Cece meet her brother for the first time and how they start down the path of being a multi-kid family.
Oh also caught a line there that seemed familiar. "Somehow burning spaghetti in a pot of boiling water." Seems like this particular Jim could use some cooking classes.
Great fun with all of these of course.

Interesting reaction from Pam there. But considering the huge feelings she had associated with that cardigan and now Jim's sweater it also makes sense. I loved how Jim was there to reassure her though. Now that they're together he's doing everything he can to make sure she knows that too.
Loved they way they brought some new memories to those sweaters as well. ;)

Really a lot of fun to see that there would be some differences between how we see these characters at work and at home. Great way of building all that.

Lots of fun in this opening chapter. Past Pam already knows where her heart truly lies. The fact she can't keep her eyes off him and also slips into daydreams is proof enough of that. Loved the time skip where she can finally act on those feelings.
