Totally can see this- Dwight watching her, and sensing what could happen. How else had he been able to react so fast with the pepper spray...also that he would keep watch by her house all night.
Nice job!

Thank you 💜
Dwight may be an 'odd' one but he is loyal to the core and he showed his true colors when he saw her crying in the hall and immediately demanded "where is he"..... I adore him being her staunch protector.

There was a lot I liked about this, especially just giving the feeling of unease, you did that very well.
I absolutely loved having Dwight keeping watch over her, that was brilliant.
The only part I disagree with is Michael's reaction when they were alone. For all Michael's faults, I don't think he is that insensitive, especially along with Pam like that, he's actually quite fond of her and if you think about what he knows, the Art Show, etc. that might not be so likely for him to react like that.
That said, overall was a real pleasure to read, and again, welcome to MTT! Looking forward to reading more from you in the future.
Author's Response: ohhhh! Ok, I was aiming for a far more ‘Michael having an anxiety/trauma response’ of his own…saying the worst possible things because he has no idea what to say…I appreciate the review that I didn’t hit the mark on that ♥a039; gives me a good goal for future!! 😊

Oh this is so sweet! I love that Dwight was looking out for, so kind. Such an underrated friendship between the two. She’s so lucky to have him looking out for her!
Author's Response: I really felt that, of course (for a comedy) a lot was left out of that situation....so I wanted to represent that bond that was evident when we have seen him be kind to her.

This was a really great look at Roy and Pam’s relationship and seems pretty canon like. I really like how you think it’s Jim watching her at the wedding, but the reveal that it’s Dwight actually looking out for her. Great job with this one!
Author's Response: Thanks so much!! I tried to keep it vague enough, because as much as we all adore Jim I think that leads to other bonds being ignored.

Really feel for Pam here. She's been living in fear for so long that it feels like it's become part of her. Then the one bit of hope she had was torn away and she blames herself for it. Now in the aftermath of Roy's attack any sort of progress she might have made in being more confident or brave seems to have melted away. Makes sense she'd be back to looking over her shoulder.
But then there's Dwight. Dwight who despite a very coarse exterior has always had a soft spot for Pam. Love that he's still keeping an eye out. Dwight is loyal to those he cares about and that comes through here. He may be overbearing but he also has a strong sense of justice and you brought that out really well too.

Thank you ♥a039;♥a039;
I feel that Rainn always brought more nuance to his character than was written. I also see a lot of strong loyalty and this came to me after seeing him comfort Pam when she cried… he was always her friend even when it didn’t look like that to her on the outside. We only ever see Dwight, Jim and Pam bust on one another…rare joking or pranks to others. That is friendship.
