This was super sweet. One of those moments that might get glossed over but if you zero in on it, it really can feel important. I liked how they initially had one side then switched later and that was what helped them settle down. Loved the last line too. Lovely job.

I'd never thought much about sides of the bed, until now, even though I've had 'my side' for decades even through two moves. But we like to switch it up on vacations. (maybe your chapter 2? )
