I find it kinda funny that it takes two people ton get Pam to come to grips with everything. Kelly for dragging her there,and Stacy to tell her she's been an idiot and to toughen up. A couple more potholes along with a great use of Canon lines. Then we go full on Hallmark movie what with Jim pulling her onstage. Very fun. I also get the feeling there was a lot more energy in the rest of his set that night. Glad to see then get together in the end.

The way you described Pam's route through London had me reading in awe, I am someone who gets lost coming out of the cinema. All I can say is Pam best sort her act out, believing the Donuts over him? Pam jumping to conclusions tracks. Gotta say Kelly being the voice of reason is a refreshing change for her. Granted it's due to celebrity stalking but still, I like seeing her like that. Look at Jim being all melancholy over Pam. Great use of canon lines too by the way. Looking forward to seeing where this all goes.

Oh sweet innocent Pam, thinking that self-described groupies are a threat. I've got a feeling that those three are wilding exaggerating any little interaction they've had from a meet-and-greet kind of thing. But of course she doesn't know that. Still it would probably sting for sure. Maybe Stacy can help her out.
So a little bit of drama to figure out. Not really a bad thing. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. Also the image of Jim and Pam snuggled up in bed was quite nice too.

So, the sparkly dress line has me imagining when John was on Lip Sync Battle and did a Tina Turner number. He lost to Anna Kendrick (because I mean lets be real) if I recall. So I'm hoping that's where the inspiration for that line came from.
A bit of a classic JAM trope thrown in there. Their miscommunications. At least this time they're more honest with each other right off the bat. Clear everything up fairly quickly.
Kind of looking forward to seeing how Pam deals with all of this now that she knows. And also having to deal with British tabloids.
Also it was a nice mental trip down memory lane. When my wife and I were in London a few years ago we stopped by the British Library and King's Cross. Fun to imagine those places again.

I loved this little story before our lovely day in London but after a few days traipsing through the city, this story just owns my heart! Such a character on it’s own— and I just have to believe that Pam and Jim/Duncan just belong together in this city! You’re doing it such justice!
Hmmm.. who is Duncan/Jim?? Aside from a huge fan of Pam, that is. I totally get JK vibes with the black mask and the baseball cap! I love that you just dove right into their connection, no beating around the bush, or waiting 3 years to hear Jim say, “alright, then, it’s a date!”
However… something tells me that Dunc—Jim— can afford this fancy bottle of champagne and is indeed not a penniless musician. But I love this idea of Pam not having any idea who he is— aside from simply this charming Jim— and that it seems like Jim (Duncan?) is ready for some of this genuine chemistry and interest Pam brings to their interactions.
And I know I say this every time but you do the sweetest job incorporating canon lines into new fic— “absolutely I do”, “I like cheesy”, “yeah, I think I am”, 27 seconds, and “I just couldn’t wait”. All swoon worthy, of course! I’m loving this bold art student Pam who feels the connection and just goes for the hand hold— because when you’re in London with this handsome, charming guy and connecting in a darling Italian restaurant in this romantic city, why wouldn’t you just dive right in? And it definitely gives Jim the courage to go for the kiss. I love the true city interruption of the peeing man because that’s just how it is! They’re clearly not as enthralled with Jim and Pam as they are with each other— nor is the person in queue who is delayed by Jim’s last romantic kiss for the evening. And Jim’s text?! Perfection. PERFECTION!!! I can’t wait either to see where this goes! Such a sweet story that is near abd dear after my visit! You’re the best!!!! Thanks for sharing these beautiful works friend!!

This was a lot of fun. Pam being nervous and feeling out of place. Then to be confronted by Michael at his magic loving best. All sorts of fun. Then a sort of eyes meeting across a crowded room meet-cute for Jim and Pam. Love that she's so taken from him right from the start. But as happens with Pam, she lets her fear win the first round.
However the re-meet at the coffee shop was all sorts of cute again. Jim's not letting her get away and so the fear melts too. So they get to start off together. Lots of fun moments for sure. Loved it.

Another story? I'm so excited! Even more excited that I might be able to do a MrsK fan fic field trip in London in a couple months! As always, you mix the characters in such a great tribute to The Office. From Michael rehearsing for his magic show to his Yoda speak, it's him perfectly outside of a paper sales office.
I love your description of Jim and Pam's awkward first interaction--funny and sweet and Jim catching Pam looking back at him. SO normal and like real life! The perfect meet cute--and walking out of the store like they may never see each other again... even after their 27 second moment--so good!
Thank God they reconnected in the coffee shop! I love your new take on Pam's tea in the form of a chai-- and I LOVE that Pam is going to have a lovely little chat with Jim as they sip their drinks and maybe fall in love. But so many questions!!!! Why is Pam in London? Why does Penny need this guitar? It seems like it would be expensive--do they have a lot of money? And why is Jim going by Duncan? Hmmm seems like you're gonna have to just write some more... and thanks for the visual. He's lovely and definitely sets the mood for this fic! Excellent work again friend! You're the best!

Absolutely love Michael casually doing magic tricks in a guitar shop. It just... works. It's probably why everyone in the area is mildly-moderately disgruntled. Love this lil meet for Jim and Pam! Absolutely adore that she contemplated going back inside for a while before running back into him anyway moments later.
