This is the perfect little wrap up to this sweet little story! I love Pam and Jim snuggling up on the couch while she sketches in their book--just the sweetest memory for them! And it's just perfect that Jim caught Pam's trick of making all of the cards the same--even though he shouldn't be snooping! Seems like the birthday will end in style too--I love Jim throwing her over his shoulder and hauling her upstairs. What a great little Jim birthday story! I love any glimpse of Jam life you give us, and this didn't disappoint--both when I originally read it, and during my reread tonight! Much love and lots of thanks--you're the best!!

Oh goodness--was that a birthday present for Pam or Jim when he stayed up all night to see his birthday in "in style"?? Anyways, I love the cover to bring Pam home for Jim' birthday! Very sweet! And I do love her idea to bring in the balloons, though the image I have--which I know is not correct--if of the balloons Dwight blew up a quarter of the way in colors to match the carpet of the break room!
But what a sweet gift from Pam! Such a creative thing to do without much cash--and yes, absolutely Jim gives her laughter every day. I love the juxtaposition back to the first chapter about Bill's funny tie annoying Helene but Pam realizing that she and Jim share that humor as a gift. Just another reminder of how they were just absolutely meant to be--and WILL have many more years of making each other laugh.
That conversation between Jim and Pam about how the pranks were always for her was just the sweetest. Those times in canon are just some of the hardest to watch and you absolutely captured that angst from both of them, and it broke my heart a little bit--but per usual, Jim brings it back to a more upbeat tempo and that they're together now--but I love this idea that the pranks were always for her, to spend time with her, to let her know what they could have together. No question those times were always going through her mind when she was making difficult decisions about Roy.
I LOVE her idea about the gift envelopes, and Jim's very serious consideration about choosing the right envelope. This is 100% something that Pam can do with very little cash and means more to Jim than any monetary gift can buy anyways! And what's better than some good office bullpen fun? I'm a little shocked that everyone agreed to play along for a coffee and donut, but I do know that food does seem to sell people, so I'll buy it!
What will Jim and Pam do with the rest of their day now that Dwight has escaped and also, completed the task of not letting Michael fall in love with him?? I love that you did the three envelopes for your husband's birthday--but I can't BELIEVE you let him see all the choices and repick! You're very kind--I think I'd be much stricter about this! Such a sweet and funny chapter--I love that Pam has a whole book to fill with her funny times with Jim. You know that will be a family heirloom to treasure! So good as always!

Well hello dear friend! It's the busiest time of year, I have a day off, and so, what better to do with my time than review your past fics that I've so terribly LURKED on! So Happy Holidays and Happy Belated Birthday to Jim--and Happy Early Birthday to Jesus too! I love the callback to the Sixers away game tickets for Jim's birthday and the backstory. It was fun to see all of her art school friends come to life--I totally pictured her drinking that flaming volcano drink at the Tiki Bar in the deleted scene before she spilled all about Jim's "fancy dick" to her friends, lol! Forget her being red, I'd love to see Jim interact with these people on a visit to her dorm at Pratt! Oh Pam! And yes, Jim, I agree, if you're shirtless (hopefully nude) in my too tiny dorm bed, I agree--smoothie later! I don't recall the deleted scene with Stanley's tie so I'll have to find that. Such a cute little ending--and clearly, Pam's cooking something up! Loved this sweet depiction of Pam during this time in her life that we haven't explored much! Thank you for being patient and developing the best back story! Lots of love!

Super cute epilogue! I loved it all. Tricking him with having the envelopes as all the same prank is an excellent touch. And of course ya had to end it with a suggestion for some spicey time. Grand effort old boy!

I absolutely love love love the little history book of pranks! Its super cute and love that they could revisit a sad moment at a better time. And the prank to make Dwight think he's time travelling is just genious.

Aww, the notebook full of pranks was a lot of fun. And I love the prank. It's so creative and fun, but I'll probably have that image of Dwight gargling urine stuck in my head for quite some time.

100% yes we can stretch that Pam came back to Scranton for a couple days. Messing with Dwight is always fun, especially if they're getting to him think he's time traveling again. I also think it would be easier to get Angela in on this one since she and Dwight are currently on the outs around now. I mean she's engaged to Andy and all.
Dwight gargling urine? Gross. Accurate, but gross. Still it was a lot of fun to see the rest of the prank pan out.

Look at Pam being all flustered about everything. It's pretty adorable. The same with her embarrassment about her friends teasing. Granted that feels like something to be embarrassed about, but it's still cute.
Sorry Alex, you're not getting anywhere with her.
