Sounds like they had a lot of fun. They should chase that feeling.
Author's Response: Fun? Really?

Now wait a whole second you already know I love this I already knew I would love this when you mentioned the idea. Is first person my fav? Absolutely not but whoosh you made it WORK. I love that it feels as hectic as Pam's mind. And sorry but the moment where Jim is worried the ball will drop on them is actual PERFECTION. I can imagine it so clearly. I was laughing for so long about that. What a wild adventure for Jam! Love that Isabel is such a pro at this and just arrives back in the story all fine while Pam is struggling away. Excellent work old chap.
Author's Response:
Well thank you kindly great sir, it was quite a challenge but I'm glad it worked!
And I'm so happy you liked the ball so much! Hehe!
Merci boo for the lovely review!

A review to go with the jelly bean. This had all the feels for me - a little romance, some amusing pothead behaviour, and a lot of giggles. Well played Lady, well played!
Author's Response: Well thank you greatly! Glad you liked it!

Ooooooo, how delightful of a little story. I can relate to wanting to get away from children, even if that means hiding in the closet, for a little bit. Jim and Pam need this. Though, I guess I can’t really relate I have neeeeever been away from mine. Makes me too anxious.
Also, high Jim and Pam? That needs to be a series all on its own. Jim and Pam get high and get thrust out into unknown places/situations. Kinda like Naked and Afraid but less naked and afraid… or more idk depends on how smutty you want it.
I loved Jim being paranoid about the ball dropping on them. Should’ve also had a moment in there where one of them said, “am I breathing? I don’t think I’m breathing.” Lolol.
Helene is… a character. I’m glad she can afford to jet off to Europe in true cougar/sugar mama fashion. I do relate with not really trusting any relatives with their children… I trust very few with mine.
Lovely story as always, my dear! You just know how to bring a little 🤌🏻 to a story that hits the spot. It’s always what we need even if we didn’t know we needed it.
Author's Response:
Ooof more high Jim and Pam? I'm not sure I have it in me. Twss
THE BREATHING omg that would have been amazing! How did I miss that one??
Thank you kindly for your lovely review!

Okay well. I adore this,
Pam's buying all the Instagram things and knowing she's a sucker for it? Too relatable. As is Jim's bare bones backing for a weekend away compared to hers.
You know how we love maternal, cozy Betsy? I think I love floozy, jetsetting Helene just as much and even just this tiny mention of her made me giggle.
""So, when should we get some?" I ask, wondering when the appropriate time to smoke a joint outside of a house party is. He lifts his eyebrows to me in question. "The weed," I whisper." 'The weed.' took me out here - I genuinely enjoy the Pam/Jim dynamic you've got going on here, and how you've really managed to convey the relationship between them with actually very few words exchanged between them.
"As the waiter leaves, I realise how full I am already from the bread, but I can't tell Jim that. I think he's only had like two pieces of the bread, and I'm kinda mad at him that he stole my bread away from me." Pam has never been more relatable than she is in this moment.
"And then I see a Target and it's like all my dreams are coming true and I head towards it, but Jim stops me." Okay now this is the most relatable Pam has ever been.
"This is my life forever now. How did I get it all so wrong?" This killed me. All of these quick little moments you threw in are delightful.
""I think the ball is gonna fall on us," he says more seriously than I think I've ever heard him say before." Paranoid high Jim was not on my 2024 Bingo Card but you know what? I'm here for it.
Hahahahahaha. The morning after. Poor Jam. Love that it's just another day for Isabel and John.
This was a treat to read! I hope it was as much fun to write, because comedic chaotic writing can be hard to do but you did this one really well and honestly, imagine how they could spend Groundhog Day?
Here's some (straight) jellybeans. Happy New Year!
Author's Response:
Ah thank you so much for such a lovely review! This was a lot of fun to write and I'm glad it worked so well! Groundhog Day you say? Come back next month and I'll see what I can do
Thanks again!

See, now you're giving me flashbacks of various calls I've been on. People about Jim and Pam's age in the story who did exactly what they did. Wanted to try gummies or other such things, didn't think they were working so kept eating them, then when all that THC kicked in, called 911 because they were "freaking out." No, you're just high and need to sleep it off. No? You want to go to the ER? Sure, I'll even be nice and start an IV to give you fluids you can't throw up then the nurses and I will roll our eyes and have a little laugh when we walk out of the room.
An interesting take on Jim and Pam's New Year's for sure.
Author's Response: So sorry about that! Something different, but back to my normal scheduled fics now!
