Well this was LOVELY. Hideously cute, especially the part where Pam realises she's pregnant, and the ending is just *chef's kiss* - nice work, mi'Lady!

What?! A holiday multi chapter?! I know other people are enjoying this, but I’m pretending it’s all for me and I’m loving it. I appreciate the nod to my career with Phillip’s cast. I’m sure it was one of my docs—though they’re in Austin, so ???— but a supracondylar humerus fracture is very common for his age and will heal quickly. Jim’s keys on the other hand sound in my head like nails on a chalkboard and yikes, how did that HAPPEN?!?!
Glad to see that Gerald has recovered from his airplane accident. Very sweet that Pam doesn’t want to miss trick or treating, but I’ll trick or treat with beardy Jim Halpert in a hotel room anyway.
Awkward little Pam accident there… and then Jim’s funny kugel/kegel joke is a little mean spirited Jim! I’m glad that karma gets him back with the exploding soda—- though Jim, did you really forget the rest stop where the soda exploded on you and where ultimately you proposed???
I need a Jim Halpert lesson on helping me to upgrade anything— but I also imagine that I’m nowhere near as charming as Jim Halpert either. But ohhhh the accidents are going to continue I fear…. First Pam leaving her birth control at the rest stop— and then when she lets Jim out of the bathroom to candlelight. Ohhh that scares me for them!
It’s fitting that Jim finishes JUST as the room ignites…. Leaving them to forget the missing birth control… and oh dear… they’re gonna have to pay for that, right??? I’m surprised the safety sprinklers didn’t come on! How is Jim going to charm himself out of this? AND, will they stop and find Pam’s wash bag??? And her birth control?? This is so cute and darling. Worth a pumpkin pie for you for sure!!!

Oh this was the BEST Thanksgiving surprise!! I will send at least recipes for green bean casserole— I used a more posh Trader Joes’s version this year, and it’s sooooo good, and pumpkin pie. I did not make it this Thanksgiving, but will for Christmas. My grandma always used the recipe from the back of the Libby’s pumpkin puree can and it never fails— though I always have to make it with her vegetable oil pie crust and Cool Whip, not whipped cream because it’s not my grandma’s pumpkin pie any other way. And you know you and your fan is ALWAYS welcome for a Thanksgiving celebration here!!
Okay the foreshadowing of this title is giving me all. The. Feels. !!!! I love Pam’s use of TJ’s. I can’t find everything there, but a lot, and Jim is in for a great birthday nosh. I’m curious as to which soup is his favorite???
Oh goodness… birthday week seems jinxed for sure! I hope Pam finished her book in the ER waiting room. I love Daddy Jim coming to the rescue and making dinner. Did he start something on the stove and finish it in the oven and that’s how he burned his hand??? Because I’m not surprised that Jim’s a decent cook and lucky Pam!
Goodness, any one of those accidents sounds like it would send me back home— but the Haperts persist! Anything for Daddy’s birthday!! Kidding not kidding. But I’m going to guess that Cece’s straw spilling incident was copied from real life. The detail was there and seems so likely.
You write post finale, real life Jam so darling and lovably real and I’m so glad we have another glimpse of theme from you!!!!!!

Ouch! They are not having much luck, eh! And I bet they had to pay for those curtains! This is a lot of fun though, looking forward to better luck for them in chapter 3!

Well, this was a lovely surprise! Poor Halperts though, that is almost a comedy of errors and calamities! Looking forward to the rest (only hopefully with less unfortunate events!)

Yup, saw that one coming, that's what she said. Still it's fun to think that Cece and Philip will be getting another sibling. Well done Jim for keeping a level head about everything in the midst of all that craziness. The whole Halpert clan arriving to surprise them was quite unexpected. Especially since they all have to be lodged at Jim and Pam's. Kinda tracks for his brothers though. I'm hoping that when Gerald heard that Tom and Pete essentially imposed everyone on Jim and Pam without notice he smacked them upside the heads.
Lots of fun throughout everything though. Lots of chaos but through it all their love and devotion to each other was woven through everything. Great job.

Things just keep piling up on each other. Yes they get a nice room, but they almost burn it down. My guess is that they didn't mention what they were doing when the curtains caught fire when they call the front desk about it. I've got a feeling I know what's next for them. Another happy accident, but not the Bob Ross painting kind. But seriously, these two need to wrap themselves in bubble wrap at this point.
Author's Response: Haha they really do need the bubble wrap! But maybe the accidents won't really be so bad :)

Good night! What a weekend! Sounds like my old, "friend," Murphy S Law was enjoying himself and then some! All she wants to do is give him a nice birthday. Nice to know that they took it all in stride. Hopefully the rest of the week wasn't as chaotic.
Quick editing note. The first sentence seems to have been cut off. Might want to go back and check that.
Author's Response:
Yes! He does appear to be here too!
Thanks for the note! Fixed it!!
