I read this a little bit ago and I'm sorry I didn't comment then but gives me this chance to re-read and review now and ask if you have intentions to continue. I think you should. This was one story I read that I kept wondering about and wanted more of.

It had so much emotion in it and so much "story" both in the history behind what happened and what could possibly be on the other side. So much potential to write in flashback and contrast with the good stuff that might come from working at a Dunder Mifflen with Michael and the "others" that are employed there.

I could so feel her pain in your writing and can relate to the sleeplessness - nice use of the mediation app to break up the paragraphs. ps- I throw on apple music sleep sounds when I'm having one of those nights- currently mine is just garden-variety insomnia or some general anxiety and not the crushing heartache that I can taste through your description.

I'm so sorry for whatever it was you were going through that prompted the story, and do hope you are doing much better now, and like you said, are stronger for it.

I need you to know that these kind words were so amazing to read this morning. I wrote this and had great intentions of continuing it quickly, but that never happened obviously. However, your comment inspired me to pick it back up! I love love love your idea of flashbacks. That wasn't where I was originally intending on heading with this story, but I think that's how I'm going to write it now that you suggested it!

I'm sorry you could identify with these words, but I hope things are on the up and up for you as well. :)

A really interesting setup and I think a very cool concept for how Pam got here and where "here" is. Looking forward to it, and thanks for sharing!

Usually I’m a ‘skip to the good part’ reader and desperate to get to the Jammy part but this world you’ve created is so full of details that I feel like I’m sitting there with Pam and I’m so intrigued by everything and want to know more about this Pam.
Sorry you’ve been through so much this year, hopefully writing (as it sometimes does) can help to bring some of it to a close.
It’s so well written and I can’t wait for the next chapter
