You captured really well once her mum arrives all the little things Jim notices
Roy entering was crushing in the show, and just as crushing here! But loved his reaction to ‘which one is Jim’

Great job getting into Jim's headspace in this episode. Those early seasons were kind of all over the place. Very much felt like that here too. Michael and Packer being over the top. Dwight being the most Dwight version of Dwight. Pam being sweet and kind yet at the same time a bit unsure of herself and still stuck in her relationship with Roy. Jim waffling on what he does or doesn't want and not really having the courage to really find out. Yet he gets that one sliver of hope that keeps him going. Mrs. Beesly asks about him, thus clearly Pam has talked about him to her. It really feels like he's clinging onto any shred of hope he can get. Nicely written.
