Oh, hey, I really enjoyed this. There's been a ton of post-Merger fic and I've read most of it, but this seems to somehow capture a different feeling. I *love* that Pam doesn't cry in the car, because she doesn't need to, and that they both say things that need to get said without sounding out of character. The pacing is great too, with fits and starts, and less rushed than romantic fic often is.

Wow. I thought you really captured the awkwardness of their trying to work through those barriers they put up.  I liked that Pam couldn't have yet another life changing conversation in the Dunder-Mifflin parking lot!  That was really an enjoyable story.

This was great! It served as a sort of therapy, b/c I'm still not over Thursday night and I really, really needed to read something like this.

And HEY! I am actually FROM exit 13! I am impressed that you captured the boulevard into town and how deserted the place is in February. (except I didn't grow up in a mansion!) ;-) I LOVE that they ended up there. So peaceful and lovely, such an escapist place. The perfect place for them to take stock of where they were emotionally.

Author's Response: It is the one place where I feel I can escape and things are just peaceful and beautiful too. It's amazing how quiet it is compared to other Jersey shore towns. So glad you liked it!
