This is your first fic? Seriously? Because this is really, really good. Such sparse prose that articulates so many of those subtleties in the show that make us ache week after week. So, so sad that she's angry but then feels the "infinite sadness" at the realization that she has no right to hate Karen or begrudge Jim his happiness. And the ending? Lovely.

Wow, thank you so much. This means a lot, as you are one of my favorite authors on the site. I tried to stay true to those subtleties and palpable shifts in emotion that happen on the show. And Pam trying so hard to hate Karen but not being able to? I've totally been there and WOW is it painful. Thanks so much again for the wonderful review! I'm glad you liked it!
