Lovely. I must say I didn't expect them to end up at a Star Wars marathon when I started this story. But the extended journal gift is amazing.

I've been reading this piece so that I can read your new 12 Days one. (I'm a completist like that.) I had intended to just leave a comment at the end but I had to thank you for this portrayal of Karen. It was so real and sympathetic and NOT bitchy and kind and understanding but still totally in character. I never read anything like it back during this time in the series and I haven't read anything like it since. Well done!

I know this story is a year old but I just found it (I'm working my way through all of your stories) and had to review it. This is without a doubt my absolute favorite Jim & Pam story. I am in awe of this, seriously. The detail and thought that went into the gifts was wonderful. I laughed, I cried. I'm having a hard time finding the words to tell you how much I loved this. And I want those ornaments, they sound gorgeous! You are an amazing and gifted writer. Thank you for sharing your gift. :o)

Moxie, I have spent the past two days reading your fanfic in little doses. I know this is a year old, but it was so incredible. I saw that you had a sequal to this and wanted to be "informed".
Thank you for writing this amazing and beautiful story.

Damn Michael and his earliness!
Haha, when Jim asks if he has any "discriminating marks," I think you meant to say "incriminating."
I am adoring this whole thing, madame moxie.

So, I had to run and post this review immediately without even finishing the chapter...Lou Lou! Oh my god! It's my favorite perfume, I started wearing it as a teenager in England, and the last time I left there I brought back 4 big bottles...which ran out years ago. And then not one month ago, I was returning to Germany from the States, and in the duty free shop, what do I find? Cacherel's Lou Lou.
Oh, also, I love this story :)

What a great idea - I love the pun of the Partridge family along with the note about how they got the song wrong. Hee! That's so sweet. I can't wait to read the rest.

How in the world did I not leave a review for this story?!? This is one of my very favorite stories. I patiently waited for each chapter. Okay, not so patiently. This a beautiful story and it is awesome to see their love unfold in the way we all want it to. Amazing job :)

I can't remember if I wrote a review once this was all done, but seriously one of my favorites - I would check every day for a new chapter. Perfect.

This is the absolute epitome of a JAM story, and it is also absolutely my favorite story here. Everything is done perfectly which explains the fact that I read the entire thing in one sitting.
The dialogue seemed very smooth and never forced. I had no trouble at all picturing Pam becoming this independent and only wish it would happen on NBC in such a manner. The playful teasing of Jim and Pam was back in full force, and it felt very natural. The pacing wasn’t rushed, and moved along exactly as it should. I never found myself skipping ahead or trying to get through dull parts, as each chapter seemed more engaging than the last. What I also appreciate is how you portrayed Karen. It could have been easy to make her try to sabotage the relationship of Jim and Pam, but you didn’t. In fact, you had her understand, and even offer some words of advice to Jim. That removed any guilt I had for what Jim had done to her and let me focus on the true part: the JAM storyline of course!
After each chapter, I let myself further believe that Pam was the secret admirer, but there was still always that small shred of doubt. Fortunately, she was, and the ending became phenomenal. The fact that Pam was that in love with Jim that she gave him the ring as a sign of commitment really finished off the story in a fantastic manner.
I also love the gift ideas, and their methods of delivery, and might find myself “borrowing” from them in the near future.
You took a modern romantic storyline and turned it into a classic. This has all the great ingredients of a classic love story, and one that I am sure to find myself reading far into the future. The smut was tasteful, as always, and what would a Moxie story be without any?

Oh my. So much to comment on here... it took me a few days to absorb it all!
Naked!Jim turning off the TV. Naked!Jim making coffee. Naked!Jim wearing just a ring on his left hand.
I have to agree with Jim -- Day 11 (in both chapters 11 and 12) was so terrific, I would have forgotten about day 12, too!
The Scrantonicity tape was so perfect as the day 12 gift! Kevin was the drummer, right? And the part about that afternoon being the last time things were 'normal' between them is soooo true. (Yes, I've been wracking my brain trying to guess each day's gift).
And the reveal! Seriously, you sent my heart right up into my throat. Even on the second & third reading. Wow.
Author's Response: lisahoo - you are the best fangirl ever!!!! I always enjoy writing Jam stuff imagining your response to it. :-)
