That was the look that he reserved only for her. It was the consolation prize she awarded to herself whenever she felt like she was choking from it…from this thing that she had to keep to herself because she loved him too much to burden him with it.
THAT'S IT. That is the reason she is being Pam and not being JIm and throwing herself on top of him in the darkened office. Or, well, not until Jim gives the go ahead, which he did so beautifully here. *sigh*
