Wow, I don't know how you pulled that off but...you did. This is the mark of a true odd pairing writer! Not only can you make it good but you make it believable. It's Dwight/Kelly for goodness sakes! Totally, totally awesome.

Wow. Just...wow. How is it possible to make this pairing work? How do you do it? I love the idea that Kelly's feelings don't change over the course of time and that she's hiding all of these secret feelings for Dwight, even up until his return. I love that her calling Dwight a freak was just a cover up.
And I LOVE the last section because again, because it's Kelly coming to terms with her new self. I don't know. I mean, I get that this is Kelly/Dwight, but there's just so much KELLY in so many perfect ways.
I am seriously in awe of this.

It's rare to read a story that castes an entirely new light on these characters. Makes me realize how almost codified they've become. So, bravo for going somewhere totally different...and still making it absolutely Kelly. And it's such a poignant side of her - how really all she wants, beneath all her silliness, is to be loved. And a whole other (but believable) dimension of Dwight too. Love that he leaves his glasses on. And the planting scene. Really well written.

Holy smokes, this is all kinds of crafty! Way to run with the teensy little details of Dwight/Kelly we saw in S2.

My gut reaction is wow. You got into Kelly's head and gave your readers a pretty interesting picture of how she changed and evolved to the Kelly that we see now. I like this and it feels like it could really have happened this way.
