You already know I'm in basic awe of the brilliance of this fic, so this is just a simple review - I love, love, loved the chapter title of Parched.
OK, fine, I've got more; I love what Pam's doing, because I imagine that's what Jim did when he first got to Stamford - except of course not with experimental classes and things, but more of just work. [maybe that's why everyone thought he was kiss-up, back in Stamford?] I also adore that we didn't see a thing of what happened that summer in the show, so this is basically an imaginary situation that's completely believable and in-character. Awesome.
Also, Numbered is possibly my favourite chapter, because I adore the recurring theme - 120. The second one is Abandoned. Goodness.
Can't wait for another five hundred words! Keep writing, this is probably my favourite incomplete fic on-site at the moment.

I registered just so i could comment on this. I usually just pass by the multi-chapter stories that have yet to be completed, but I happened upon this when I was extremely bored and sick in bed.
For the past few days, I've come on to the site specifically hoping that there'd be more to this story. I've gotten my fiance into it too. It's my favorite.
Thank you!

Man. This stops just as it gets interesting. Figures. I agree with what kath said on TWOP, I'm really glad you're naming the chapters, because it makes it a lot easier to remember where I left off when you update. Because now I have to read more!! Gah.
Your title is so perfect.
Author's Response: ooh! THANKS! and hey, do you think i can i get a link? i never know what you guys are talking about over on TWOP. but i just registered, so it'd be awesome to have a place to start!

Yes, a hearty second that I'm dying for more chapters, too! Also, I want to tell you how amazed I am at the introspection you are able to convey in each batch of 100 words. Freaking beautiful.

Oh my god, I have to say that you have some of the cruelest cliffhangers of any author on this site. What's on the paper! Ahh! Dying! Great chapters.

I'm really loving the premise to this story. Pam is giving Jim a taste of his own medicine! I can't wait to see where this goes!

mm. nice taste in music, that boy has :)

I love this whole story! I really love Dwight in it. I think a lot of people see Pam as having the blame in this whole ordeal. They don't really think about how Jim never really gave her time ot just think....so, great job in showing that!

Fantastic! I *loved* the bit where Dwight was trying to let Pam know via code that Jim had found the Jell-o mold. Spot-on for our beloved beet farmer, I tell you.

This is what it feels like to be abandoned. Ouch. So freaking true. I cannot freaking wait to see what else you have in store. (I'm going to have like 20 chapters when I get home from the hospital!!!)

this is so clever, and interesting. i particulalry like the phrases "unholy confection" and all of dwight's different meanings of "he found the jello" these literally had me laughing out loud. my sister now thinks i'm deranged becasue i'm supposed to writing an english paper, but instead i'm laughing at my computer ;)

Dwight trying to use code names for the Jello was AMAZING!!! I'm so addicted to this story! PLEASE update soon, I can't wait to see what Jim does now!
Date: January 30, 2007 02:29 pm Title: Abandoned
wow - please keep going! (and quickly) seriously? i think this is one of my favorite stories (don't tell moxie tho...) so it deviates from what we expect from pam. so what? i think that is a GOOD thing. i think you still stay true to the characters and it is about freakin time jim got a taste of his own medicince, just like pam's been getting a taste of hers on the show. so, you go fickle. bombdiggity, yo.

I giggled at Dwight's deflated "he found the jello". Still enjoying a ton!
