Baths are for feeling good. Showers are for when you need to cry. -- I totally agree!!!
Except my shower, probably smaller than Pam's. It is, oh, basically big enough for... um, a person, and not much else. And the shower curtain billows in making it smaller. and my roommate has about ten THOUSAND (not exageratting) products which line the floor. Not cool. So I guess I am more like Roy. I have, in the shower, Shampoo, soap, and a fluff ball thing you use for soap.
This was a really interesting reflection on Pam, Roy, and stuff.

That was heartbreaking and beautiful. I loved this line "She thinks about what that girl would think of who she has become." It reminded me of a scene in Take Your Daughter to Work Day when Pam said she wanted to be an artist when she grew up and then the girl pointed out that she was a grown up. (I can't remember exactly what happened).  Loved the history of her and Roy.

Great work!

I like this. My favorite part is not the flashback where things "happen", but just the more in-depth "Pam's thoughts tonight", a moment in time.

My favorite line is "No one's seen the inside of this shower, no one has complained about its contents."  And if only Pam had made some kind of phone call...  (Wah!)

Hey, can I put in a formal request for a story with Jim and Pam called "Lather"?  You know, it could be part of a whole shower cycle.  Whaddya think?

Nice job.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much!  And I co-wrote another fic called "This Is Not Helping" which is sort of a companion piece to this, only totally on accident. :p

Glad you enjoyed it!
