I love that you're exploring Jim feeling a lack of trust and wariness with Pam at this point. It's not something you see too often in fic, but I think it's what he has to be feeling at this point. He's going to be incredibly reluctant to trust/believe Pam--and I think you're capturing that well here.

This is some heavy angst but to be fair I was warned. Helps show why Jim acts like such an idiot sometimes. And here's a warning for you. I'm hoping for a happier ending... *holds garbage menacingly*
