I like this better than what really happened. I felt so badly for Jim in that episode -- you could totally see the bewilderment all over his face. I really enjoyed this story. :)

I thought you built up the tension really well in this story. My only qualm is that Pam doesn't really seem to address that she is still with Jim and can't be with him all of a sudden even if that may be what she wants.

Sigh. I wish this had happened, although I don't really like to see Pam cheating. I mean, yeah, she was never meant to be with Roy, but still. But don't get me wrong--I loved the story! This is actually the first fic I've read that centers around The Fight, and it was great. I always thought it was just weird how they left that. I mean, we all know that Pam got flustered because she was enjoying herself too much, but it was kind of bizarre that she didn't apologize to Jim later...or vice versa.
Well, anyway, sorry to ramble. I really liked the story. :)

i would love to know what happens after this. i mean, does she dump roy? that's the biggest question left after reading this. but my first reaction is a heartfelt squee! :) it's really well written and believable. good job.
