I loved this story so much. I thought for a moment that Pam really was a vampire because of the way the story progressed. It's so great to hear Jim talk about his suspicions with Mark and how awesome Mark is to point out the fact that Jim's just obsessed w/ Pam. You write such real images. All right, I'll stop gushing and just say "Great job!"

Wow, I really loved this. I've always been into the idea of past lives and reading about Jim and Pam having them is just really cool. As I said before (previous review), I really like that your stories are out of the ordinary and that on top of that, they're very well written. I really love your work.:)

I loved this! It's so new and refreshing and unlike anything I've ever read (which I always find to be a bonus, 'cause after a while a lot of fics just fade together, you know?) It was also a little scary though, my imagination got the best of me and for a while I thought the ending would be very.. bloody, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I really loved this. Now I'm going to read the other chapters.=)

i'd like to bring your attention to this painting by edvard munch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Munch_vampire.jpg). while i'm not suggesting you alter your story based upon this painting, but i kept thinking about it while reading! i love this so so much. i love mark. i love jim! heeee! and i love that you said this: Please review if you liked. I really love the fact that you've added another chapter to this little series. I absolutely adore the concepts -- a type of mythical, paranormal or magical side to Jim and Pam's relationship. It's so unlike anything else I ever read with the two of them, so it's definitely a treat to see another addition. This new chapter was really exciting, and I don't think that you have anything to worry about. It was certainly otherworldly, and you write remarkably well. I hope that we readers can see another addition some time in the future!

I really enjoyed this. You did a great job explaining why Jim thinks Pam is a vampire.... taking ordinary activities and putting a vampirish twist to them. I also enjoyed the art history info and the link - I've never heard of that painting before and being able to actually see it myself was awesome. Great job!

I love this - the style, vocabulary, everything. You've done a great job at capturing how it feels to be so hungry for someone you feel like there must be something wrong with you without making it over the top or ridiculous.
Also, reading Stephen King can make anyone paranoid.

As an art history grad student I have to say good job with the art stuff! As I was reading, I was thinking, "uh, that Goya is in the Prado...how did they end up in Spain?" But the sketch part straightened me out :)
And I am now compelled to read Salem's Lot. Good summer reading so I won't be scared!

This was really fun. You made the reader wonder a bit, just like Jim did. And Mark's reaction was hilarious. Typical guy.
But I have to tell you (and I'm revealing my inner dork here), when Jim and Pam were looking at Saturn Devouring His Children I was thinking to myself, "Wait -- that's a mistake! That painting's in the Prado!" (I saw it there, and it really made an impression on me.) But then, of course, they're student reproductions hanging in Scranton. Duh. Lighten up, lapdog! *facepalm*
The inability of my inner dorn to suspend disbelief aside, I just loved this. And Salem's Lot *is* way scary -- the movie positively haunted me as a kid. But this was my favorite part:
A year and a half ago, he was asked where he saw himself in ten years. And when he thought about it, he didn’t see big cities and big money. He didn’t see Karen or himself going to large parties, mingling with higher-ups or any of that meaningless shit. He only saw years and years of Pam. Of this. Of yogurt lids and flower peddles. Of Chinese takeout and cheesy movies. Of sacrifice and fear, fights and laughter.
He saw the life he had wanted.
*sigh*
I love fics because they delve into the thoughts of the characters that we never get to see/hear. You've done a great job of that here, with Jim. And really showing that not even Jim will ever know all of Pam's inner thoughts. Very cool.

I loved this! I love stories that use uncommon themes to describe Jim and Pam's relationship, and this one was so original! Lots of great images here, just the right mixture of comedy and tenderness--just like the show.
One nit pick: in the sentence "Of yogurt lids and flower peddles," I'm sure you meant to say flower petals." :) That's the kind of thing I always miss in my own stories, since you spelled "peddles" correctly, the spellchecker wouldn't catch it!
anyway, I loved this thoroughly. It stands perfectly on it's own, but if you wanted to expand it, you could have one from Pam's point of view where she suspects Jim is a Werewolf, perhaps?
