hmmm.... Jim better come clean about his past soon because this is making him look like an a$$! So my question is why would Karen want more money when she probably makes more than Jim?I liked the Dwight role and how he was there to sort of comfort Pam. Great chapter. I hope Jim finally divulges everything soon! all i can say is "more more more!"
Author's Response: Jim does eventually come clean about his past...not immediately, it takes some coaxing, but he does do it.
And Karen is just all around evil, and there will be more of that to come in the future as well.

Love Kelly hating Karen. Love Dwight comforting Pam. Love Angela being Angela. Love that Jim took his ex to a restaurant that he knows she hates. I love that Pam curses. Love how Jim and Pam are getting closer.

Ok that definately was the BEST way to ever spend an afternoon...of course now I'm completely not ready for a fundraiser I have tonight...but oh well
I am a huge fan of AUs and this one is being done so astonishingly well...I can not wait for what you've got next.
p.s. I love nothing more than Karen being the evil, gold digging ex-wife...I didn't expect that at all.

3. I hate Karen. She doesn't make enough money? Geez. If she was the one who broke his heart, than shouldn't she not be gauging (sp?) him for money?

She's so successful herself, and they didn't have any kids (I assume?) and she's trying to get more money out of him? Blech! Stand "on your own", Karen, with the money you're already getting!
I really like Dwight in this chapter. And thank goodness Pam got Kelly to take her table. It would have been terrible for Pam to wait on that table.
Good chapter! Post the next one when you can! I'm enjoying this so much.
