Jim finally gave her the card. The timing was perfect for them both to get beyond the first date nightmare and admit to themselves and each other just how in love they were. Great chapter. I loved the dinner invitation at the end!

You know, usually I'd feel cheated that I didn't get to read what was in the note--at least what you thought was in the note--but since you alluded to the fact that he at least wrote "I love you" in it, I think that was just fine. Peachy, in fact! I love it that Pam's so overcome by his words, because it's so authentic to her character. So sweet.
Author's Response: You are right on what I am trying for with that. For this story the actual note text was not as important as the effect it had on Pam. Thanks for noticing=)
