I'd like to write a pithy review, citing specific lines that really worked for me, but I can't...I'd end up copying the entire story. So, I'll sum up by saying, I think you've nailed the mundane, imperfect, idiosyncracies that make two people love each other - not just any two, but very specifically these two. Very in-character for each. And I like the 2nd person pov for this final chapter - makes it so direct and unfiltered. Such a sense of really knowing each other, in all those tiny, day to day ways that's the heart of true intimacy...which of course makes this the perfect finale for this whole, lovely series. Sorry to see it end ;-)

Author's Response: Pith is highly overrated in my book!  This means more to me than all the panini in the land, Colette.  I'd like to be able to say that this one was easy, but it was so hard (TWSS) - mostly because I kept crying while I was writing it.  I hate to see this end, too, but I'm sure I'll come back to doing vignettes because I like them so much.  Your vignettes made me realize that I didn't have to write a 97-chapter epic tale to really tell a story and convey a feeling.  Thank you so much for the inspiration and encouragement.

WOW. just....WOW.

Author's Response: Oh, go on with yourself!  You're too much.  Thank you.

This whole story was lovely, but this last chapter might be the sweetest note of all. Your description of Jim has turned me to jello (!), and I've loved every word of this story. Well done! --CH

Author's Response: CH, I can't tell you how great this makes me feel.  I haven't written anything in years and writing this story has been like being reunited with an old friend.  We're still getting to know each other again and the relationship isn't as smooth as it could be, but when I read your stories I'm inspired to keep doing it.  Thank you so much for reading and for your kind words.
