I've never watched X-Files. I was a chicken when I was a kid. it freaked me out. that's not important. What is important is that I love this. I love how you write the characters, I love their voices and their conversation and the story's just really interesting. I'm frustrated that Jim is being ridiculous, but then I remind myself that in this time frame that's sensible. And what would Jam be without a little angst? just bffs. anyways, I will be anxiously awaiting updates. sorry my review's so long but i've been storing it up over 4 chapters. :)

I LOVE that your review is long!! Also, I love that you're reading this even though you've never seen the X Files and that you're still enjoying it! I've been a fan for like eight years or something, so it's hard for me to step outside of myself and see whether the fic is readable to someone who's never seen the show. I'm so glad it is. Also sorry about the angst ;-) Warning? It'll probably get worse before it gets better. But once it's better it's gonna be REALLY good. (it's a promise) Thank you again for the review!!!!

Oh, I loved the subtle way Scully played Mulder with the Jim thing - awesome!
I'm pretty intrigued by the whole "mystery" too - can't wait for the next part!

Oooooh. I just caught up on the last three chapters. I cracked up when I realized that Mulder and Scully did talking heads! And the whole rodeo clown thing was hilarious.
Oh! And this line-- “Sometimes…You have to put a quarter in."
And Scully sort of testing Mulder with that Halpert talk. Very, very nice. Please keep it up!
Author's Response: lol thank you I'm so glad liked the jokes ;-) I've been trying to sort of balance the Office humor with the X-files humor, but it's turning into a tricky task. We'll see how it all turns out. The next chapter is pretty much done, so keep an eye out tomorrow.
