Um, so this was pretty awesome. I loved it how it talked about their relationsip. And he does have an amazing ability to think of pranks. Great job!

Oh!  Oh!  I love it!  Because I LOVED that prank--one of my all-time favorites--and this little back story is just awesome.  Bittersweet, but awesome.

Ouch.  Thanks for the trip back in time to S2 angst-ville.  And for the glimpse into Pam & Jim's rationalizations.  No lines crossed.  Sigh.

You did a fantastic job on this. Great job with Jim and Pam.  You wrote them beautifully.

You know, I've had fleeting moments where I wondered how the hell Jim got that desk in there when I've watched this episode!  I knew someone had to have helped him, but that's as far as I got with that thought.  This was great, jlangblues!

This:

He looks so comfortable. And for some really weird reason, she almost wants to cry, kind of. Not because she’s sad but because he’s happy and that just makes her so, so happy.

is so sweet and so sad and Jim and Pam's inner and outer voices seem very real and natural to me.  You'll be writing more then, yes?

It's really interesting how you've related a prank to what their inner feelings might have been at the time.  This line "Because at the end of the night, he won’t be happy and she’ll be sad and they won’t be in any place other than where they were before" was particularly poignant, I thought.

I like how you end with the actual prank and "no lines crossed."

I'm glad Jim eventually crossed the line on the show. :)
