What an incredible story you have here! You're angst is so delicious! I just love the story and can't wait to see where it goes. I'm thrilled that you didn't make Roy the bad guy. Well written with believable characterization and a great story line. This one has it all. I can't wait to for the rest.

Absolutely love Jim's mom. I'm looking forward to Jim's return. Not so much Karen.

WOW. This chapter totally floored me. Pam's last line was SO perfect for that moment. I like the idea of Pam taking Jim to her elementary school to try to show him what she could be, so he could see what she was and what she could become. Really beautiful.

Excellent job. I love how "Pam's wedding was nice" means so much. 'Nice.' Ouch.

I love this story! It would be interesting to get Jim's version of the whole pam picking them up at the airport thing.. either way, can't wait for more ;-)

This was so heartbreaking! Thank you so much for updating, I absolutely LOVE this story! I think you captured Karen really, really well. She seemed much more human and likable than many fics would have her be, and that really made the story so much more believable for me. And, of course, you captured Pam's emotions perfectly. Awesome!
Author's Response: Thank you for the wonderful review! I like that none of these characters are evil or bad, nor are they all good and make the right decisions 100% of the time. I like messy characters and the Office is full of them, which makes it such prime material to base fic off of.

This is so heartbreaking but I really like it. Can't wait to see where you are going with it.
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope real life can stay out of the way long enough to find out ;)

"And he just loved her. He was so in love with her, it hurt. And he was so tired of hurting."
That line was really, really beautiful. In fact, the whole thing is! Great, great job.
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate the kind review

This is nicely done (I know the word "nice" is not that exciting within the context of your story, but I mean it in the best way possible, I promise!). I loved your description of Pam's inner dialogue; keep up the great work! -CH
Author's Response: Ha! Thanks for the clarification ;) Thanks for the review!
